Well it's nice to be unbanned and since I am quite beyond the point of a lazy to a term that I have no words for I am not going to read through old threads to find one that might answer this question.

Now my question is I hear rumors about the TW reward being returned to coins is this true of false? If true what is the timeframe or are the trolls just doing their job?

    Well, welcome back to the forums. Although some things we're slightly hinted by Frankie in regards to TW coin coming back, nothing has been confirmed. I wouldn't expect it back, but can always hope.

    For now, as far as I know, there aren't plans yet to make this change. However, we are speaking with the devs about how the TW changes seem to have reduced player interest in participating in TW. Going by what they say, we'll see what can be done.

    Supposedly they are "going to talk with the devs" about it, which means there is a 99.999999999% chance that nothing will change, and a 0.000000001% chance that nothing will change.

    I have screenshotted conversations with guilds on Lost City saying they are not going to bid on Essence until the reward is coin so essentially, in this instance at least, the current system is leading to exactly what the devs want to avoid, a map controlled by one faction.

    Maybe they just wanted to lower inflation from everything except packs. Not to make interest in TW. Actually scratch that, in China they don't have packs. I don't see what then.

    I was under the impression that the chinese government banned packs or gambling of sorts (not sure about the specifics)... but maybe the source wasn't reliable.

    Yeah, I remember that rumor circulating, but I checked on it and they do indeed have packs in their cash shops.

    Oh bummer that was my only hope of packs not being implemented in future PWE games or refined further in this one. :P

    Well, as pleased as i am to see GMs are finnaly listening to the players and acting on their behalf, in this case frankie actively participating in a thread about an ugly aspect of the game and showing interest in what players want and actualy trying to fix it... i have to agree with Rawrgh.

    Maybe they'll realease packs with a chance to get a coupon redemable for TW pay at an officer of a territory owned by your faction? b:beatenup
