Stuck in Best Performance

Ive turned best performance on and off multiple times and even restarted the game, but I still cant see any of the other players until theyre right next to me. Any idea how to fix this?

    I believe it's the 3rd clickable option on the top left corner (above your character info). It looks like a little stick figure. Turn that stick figure off and you should be able to see further. You can also increase the distance in the UI settings (bottom left button -> UI tab).

    back out of hiding while it is quiet.. fed up being bashed for nothing ;)

    anyways..

    sometimes when you turn off best performance, it does not reset your game settings back to your preferred "high" settings. This is especially true if you logged off while in best performance.

    Go into your game settings via the system menu and adjust your settings back to what you want - increase distances to see further away players, turn on customizations etc.
