Upgrading Blacksmith through catshop

I was wondering... I have Bs5 and BOUGHT a book Bs6... so i went to the elder but I couldnt upgrade it to 6?.... so do i still need to manufacture those damn weapons... (I thought that with a book you could learn it without manufacturing)

    You need to be level 80, other than that I don't know much about manufacturing.

    If you have already the lvl 6 book, make sure you have Blacksmith skill lvl 5 at 100% before trying to upgrade it.

    As far as I know, the skill quest only rewards you with the book, you still need to go to the Elder to upgrade the skills. There should be no need to do them if you can get the book some other way.

    btw, how did you get the book?. I know the Book Merchant sell them, but he wants a ridiculous amount of coins for each.

    He most likely bought the Blacksmith training 1 box from the CS. You can get from lvl 1 to lvl 8 w/o ever having to do the quests. Your lvl will ofc, determine how high your Blacksmith will get (need to be 99+ for lvl 8). But the books and training stones will stay in your inv. until you're at the correct lvl to upgrade again.

    It's actually a very good investment if you have 0 patience (like me xD). The box itself will set you back about 13mil at current gold prices, but that's cheap compared to the coin or time you might spend trying to craft just 1 weapon for the quests.

    where do I go to get these items can you give me the cordinates to the locations of geting skill books and how to rise skill lvls with out making stuff
