How really good vit veno?

I saw this pvp video and was surprised how fun this build at pvp : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvkPJ5pKlPw So, does it really worth to think about this build? Should I put int, str how need a weapon and an arcane and other all points to vit? How about shards, all p.def? And how about pet? Will be enough sawfly? Or this build work only with nix?

    It all depends and it would be to premature to even think about this as it would be best to consider your magic and str stats as well.I would get a phoenix in the persistent world it can take down anything.

    vit build is very good when combined with garnets in armor. you will have amazing survivability, and your damage will not suffer much. your hp and defense compared to pue magic will be quite significant. follow tear valerin's guide on it.

    Venos aren't tanks. Get a bunch of DD class wannabe tanks and it takes forever to kill stuff. Look at how much more HP BMs and Barbs get from vit than Veno, but when they use the same HP shards they get the same HP. Now consider Matk, Mdef, Max MP, MP recov, and pet healing, that you give up to still be a 2 shot candidate in PvP.

    but seriously. 2, and 4 more hp per vit, such a huge difference! most BMs dont even get vit, if you knew anything. the m.atk/mdef difference is insignificant (yes because an extra 1-2% makes a huge dif, NOT), max mp and mp recov are insignificant (apothecary, 100 mp per go, cleric buffs?), and the pet healing is nearly the same. any LA veno will tell you the same, they have no trouble healing through bosses that pure arcane do.

    your opinions always seem to amount that all venos should be cookiecutter. everyone else thinks otherwise.

    My opinion is while vit can be viable in lower levels where you arent sharding and refining alot, it's best left alone in higher lvls. Your stats will always be used best in magic (mostly and especially if your pure mage), str(if your HA, and like to use foxform) and dex(again if your HA and it's needed for armor.) You don't have to be a vit build veno to tank, because most HA venos have no vit, and I'm pretty sure a pure mage veno can body tank bosses. In fact, I know of an arcane veno, that tanked Fragrance in Fcc, and her gear was mainly 3 socketed with flawless/immac citrines/garnets... maybe +3-4 refines, and she probably only had 4k-something hp at the time. She's not a complete pure-mage veno, but she didn't have alot of vit either.

    To him no matter what, vit build is stupid.

    Does this mean that with my 150~ vit I can't solo heal 1-3 drum..belial..world bosses?
    Damn I should go pure mag..oh wait! I can do all that stuff with that vit b:bye

    Of course. Most opponents are 2-3 hit kills (that's while they're still stunned). Many of Enrages Barbs are easy prey with with a few exceptions.

    tweakz, go ahead and 2 shot that bm. he had like 11.5k hp when the video was made and like 10k-11k magic defense self buffed (more than arcanes). he doesnt even need spike damage to kill a 3k hp veno

    40 vit here has helped me a bit on PVE and dungeons (im not into TW ) still i outdmg archers and bms my lvl so i guess my DD power so far is fine , and i can tank things ( low things but still i manage).

    Btw Veno gets 12 HP per vit while clerics / wizzies / psys get 10 . Veno starts with 10 more HP than other classes ( at lvl 1 )
    Also , Tweakz why u compare BMs / barbs to venos , those are melle classes while veno lies in the magical realm. they are different classes with different needs . Can u elaborate here

    To the OP: It's well known that tweakz is a dolt when it comes to builds. There are MANY MANY other people more qualified to aid you in your build, like Evanera ... Pro-Veno is Pro.

Veno has dmg based on only Mag of the 4 stats. It has multiplier on defense (fox form) not HP. It leeches a fixed amount of HP per hit (favoring defense).
