Where do I purchase one?
ALSO, What does dex. and vit. stand for and what do they do?

    pickaxes can be purchased at any Merchant NPC; click "goods", then the "misc" tab.

    dex is dexterity. it increases your percentage of critical hits, and increases the damage you do with ranged weapons, among other things. it's the stat most archers will want lots and LOTS of. clerics don't need any of it.

    vit is vitality. it increases your hit points and healing rate. you don't need very much of it if you're playing either elf class; neither of them should be getting hit very much, and clerics can just heal themselves.

    Also, a quick hint from another elf. :)

    If you hover your mouse over any of your attributes or anything like that that you're unsure of, it will give you a brief description of it, and what it does.

    Also Vitality IS important for elves, just not in huge doses. We aren't barbs and we sure aren't bms! Mostly what you'll need is magic, but you WILL need strength and vitality at higher levels for things like better armor and weapons.

    If you really want to know how to build your cleric, I'd suggest looking at the TT armor and wepaons that you plan to get later on. And then also think about what kind of elf you want.

    There are some really good sticky'd cleric guides in the class discussion area that will tell you all about what kind of clerics there are and what each kind can do. Good luck!
