to hell with the new mods, and to hell with PWE, and their ineptitude to respond to how the community feels.
I second WaffleChan's words. I'm very sad to see something so good go so bad.
I believe I came in 2-4 months after Age of Spirits expansion came out, and at that time, there seemed to be virtually no bug in the game, sans rubberbanding.
Now the devs are "fixing" non-broken things, and PWI is just eating up everything the devs do, aside from the 50% reduction in DQ price (Which, please tell me what our compensation for that was.. Was it a "sale" on Packs?) I don't even believe PWI said to the devs "Hey, this doesn't work for us, can you change it for PWI's sake?"
I used to play nice, and I actually backed up the GM's/Mods before. But now it's unruley.
We've got 3 new mods... 2 of which i NEVER saw post in the forums unless it's under the one section I don't visit - Cashshop-o-holics, and 1 person who all he does is spam the Fanatics Forum with pictures of himself. I'm not saying he's a bad guy... we've talked a few times, but, of ALL the people you could make mod why him? (IE: RedsRose would have been a good one) I have really only seen him help someone a FEW times in this forum. Like, legit help. Not telling people how to quote posts and post images.
I'm sad that you guys decided to ban NightRage, who did not troll or flame PWI, just mearly said how broken the game was becoming. Please show me where he flamed PWI... because the last I checked, 99.9% of all his thread posts were legit arguements where he appeared calm and collected.
This may be a free-to-play game, but it's definitely a play-to-win game, and in the end, /we/ are paying PWI's salaries. A LITTLE customer service would be nice in return. There are so many bugs in this game and only .5% of them get fixed, I swear. Not to mention TW, DQ prices and the like. Core System? Awesome. Why not give it to us when you get off your lazy asses and fix our problems or negotiate with the devs to make things better? Do any of our concerns even /go/ to the devs? More than likely not.
This game was fun, I really enjoyed it up until the new expansion came out. PWE really screwed us over with the Tideborns, where everything was inferior to them. And the perks /they/ got over the other classes was complete bull****. But I digress...
What I'm trying to say is

I really hope when FW comes out, you give better support to your customers, otherwise, it will end up sinking just like PWI. If I get banned for this, so be it. I don't give a flying **** anymore.

I said 99.9% of his posts. Yes, sometimes he would say Game is Dead, but every other post he had was legit. Did you even read his "Negativity" thread?
Anyway, Rage was not my friend, I was a mere admirer of him. If I get banned, so be it. I don't give a **** because the way PWI is working right now is not worth playing the game. I was only using forums mainly to help people after I take a break from the game, but after yesterday, I don't believe I'll be back and/or helping anyone.
Edit: Btw I have no "friends" on this game. If I can't see them in real life, they are not my friend. Aside from Haxxz. I'm moving to UK to marry him once he's legal. b:cute[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Nightrage had nothing to say 99% of the time. He finally came down from his nerdrage and posted something more legit.

I am not angry that Rage got banned, I can easily forget about him. He is only a forum-goer.
I am upset at the idea behind his banishment though. The censorship we have in the forums. NOTHING is allowed if it's not you shooting rainbows out your *** while riding a unicorn and announcing to the world how great the game is. Legit questions turn into "Please PM a mod/GM", when we all know that the only person to really take their time with us was Spoons. And any bit of negativity gets turned into a huge arguement, thus resulting in closing the thread & the possible banishment of the OP.
I just think there were so many other people that could be banned aside from the people who talk the truth.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

they shouldve been allowed to criticize, and point out their opinions without recieving an axe though, look at all of airyll's posts... and she made it through the night. wafflechan makes a clear, concise post, unlike airylls; which was loaded with profanity and sarcasm, in which to express his opinion. im thoroughly disappointed in how the situation was handled.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Eatswithspoons would have been treated just as bad if he were here. Eats did a good job but at the same time he worked at PWI during a better period of the games life.
You can't compare apples and oranges.
We don't get answers from Frankie on subjects because Frankie has been told nothing to tell us.
Frankie is just a "middle-man" to communicate to us from the powers-that-be.

Actually, to be fair, we all gave spoons hell, at least in the harshlands forums, for like the first 3 months he was there.
But he eventually proved himself to be a decent member of the community, rather than a faceless entity that delivers bad news and ignores people.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

The great thing about him was i didnt need to lie, he actually felt sympathy for my concerns as a player (which came as flames and trolling on the forum) and that is why i can still post now. the bleep has "not being helpful" got to do with anything? if the standard is "you have to be helpful to the forum community or you'll get banned", well... let's talk about some of our most recent moderators, eh what?
my point: how does posting "game is dead" as a reply to everything hurt the community? yes, he was doing it for an awful long time. me, i was ignoring him; no skin off my back if he wanted to put those three words in everywhere. he wasn't insulting, he didn't start any trouble, didn't stir up anything. as the mods knew, since he kept doing it for as long as he did without negative consequences.
here's the real truth: he got banned when he finally posted a long, considered, thought-through, polite critique of what he thought was wrong with the game, and challenged the GMs and mods to respond. that was unacceptable. being a silly bugger on the forums is fine; criticizing The Almighty Company is a banning offense.
i agree with his criticism, for what it's worth. it's got to the point i'm dreading every new patch; my instinctive reaction tends to be "oh cripes, what will they **** up THIS time..." and two weeks without maintenance has been fine by me because at least the game hasn't backslid any further during that time. that's how little trust i have left in the people who make and maintain this game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Heaven's Tear alts: KenLubin, Sou_Hon, JudyCaraco --- level 5x chars.0 -

Frankie still needs to update this here though.
Anyway, I'm not going to complain about the new mods. Why? Because I haven't seen enough yet to judge about that. Grim seems to be known as a spammer mostly, but from the few posts he's done so far as a mod he seems to be a sensible guy. Maybe a bit new (to the community and game in general), but reasonable.
Now the other 2 haven't made posts at all yet beside their introduction so I can't really say anything about that.
The fact that some people have been banned was to be expected wasn't it? NightRage already got a warning for ''disruptive behavior'' from Frankie a while ago.
Sad as it might be, there's a border and we crossed it miles ago. Now's the time to try and get things straight again, whether or not this will happen depends on our new mods.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
