I have posted since a wee level 20 cleric....I have done FC as an archer so I sorta know the routes and what to expect from each boss however I was looking for some suggestions on how to be the best cleric in FC that I can.

First off I am only L76 and am pure build but I have pretty good gear (mold & TT gear) With barb buff I get to around 2900 hp. What skills should I have maxed and when should I be using them. If there is a walk through please link it. I will be searching in the morning....but I thought i would start a thread so I had something to read when I woke up:)

    SoR,IH,WS,Purify,BB,CHB = your set to go since it's most likely you will be using all of them

    Bring chi pots if no veno present, good to have sparks ready between pulls ;) Or else get a genie with Chi Siphon. Holy Path if you don't already have it ofc, so you can catch up to the barb when he pulls...

    1st Boss I'd say pretty much just IHB between moving around
    2nd boss, watch squad mates for stun - may have to SoR on them and purify the pink bubble or w/e else that boss does to the DD's. Some clerics do team heal though instead of targetted heals.
    3rd boss basically IH on tank / team heal the bleed if tank cant cancel (keep yourself out of bleed range)
    4th boss IH tank, team heal against bishop AoE's
    5th boss I rarely get heals on most of the time since the squad spends the entire time running in separate directions.. but you'll be team healing the squad against aoe's whenever they come - rez the ones that don't make it away from the slash - SoR on tank
    6th boss team heal/IH
    7th boss team heal/IH
    8th boss IH/puri the debuff (hes like a polearm with a stun)
    9th boss you may want to purify the chi drain on your tank (most never do this for me b:cry)
    Last boss(es) heal and puri stun for first part - second part set up BB near tank.

    nothing too difficult b:shocked
    may wanna carry a few res scrolls for your first few runs if you're the only cleric in squad - Ive seen clerics die from first boss if they dont move when the trap comes up, second boss when they catch the bubble, bishops popper kills clerics if the squad doesn't catch them in time, running boss kills clerics if they stand too close during slash, hands boss kills clerics if someone misses a hand or aoes/directly attacks "divided"

    when you get to 79, if you can afford it - get your winged shell skill so you can wing the puller (I generally ask clerics at the start of the run to just wing me to let me know they are ready for the pull).

    BB, IH, purify, squad heals and rez(if needed) is the mush skills you need in fc. IH on the bosses and purify if needed. Bring chi pots if no veno, and no need of drop BB after first hall and room. The puller can pull the other room as well, then you will spare some time waiting you chi comes at two sparks....
    Learn when the aoe hits. You can see when the aoe gonna hit and be quick with the squad heal.
    Holy path on genie, you should have and even second wind, so you can use that. I usely take IH on every1 on bosses sometimes, so use second wind or other healing pots so you don't need to worry about urself so much.
    The last boss before heads in the big room, he usely hits hard on me and other classes, venos or physics for exempel. So when you ih on tank, put ih two or three times on urself after the first aoe hits, and on other classes aoe hits hard on. IH tank alot-ih ur self three times-ih tank and so on.
    His aoe one hit me once, even i'm charmed.

    Little off-topic: Why everyone tell to bring chipots? Why can't the squad wait cleric? I hate gathering chi while barb already pulls full room b:surrender

    On-topic: Same what others say, I usually use IH on barb and DDs when only one is hurt, squad heal on bosses and bishops, BB on room pulls and bosses, Rez on DDs and Barbs who pull too much at once b:chuckle

    People (includeing myself as a cleric) like fast fluid runs, no stopping at each pull and waiting on CHI = less time, and a potential second+ run.

    Also to add as a pointer on topic of chi, that will save you from needing the pots, most pulls are to the shade. The ads are usually dead long before the shade (provided you have decent AE damage goin) cancel bubble before shade is dead and simply heal the tanker-typically you will gain that second spark before moving on to next round.

    u can also ask ur squad for some info coz ur the cleric they wont let u just stand and watch them dying ;D

    but i love squad wipe haha... also when its not my fault yay

    bb aoe heal actually all healing skill except purehearted blabla i forgot the name

    about the chi, you can get cloud eruption as well.
    also, some sort of genie healing (ToP, 2nd wind) is nice on the 2nd boss.

    Umm... Because time is money. People do FC to level quickly. They want to do each run as quickly as possible. If I was a DD or the tank and we kept having to stop so cleric could get chi. I would kick the cleric and find a good one.

    The only squads that want a veno are the 75-85 or 80-90 squads. 90+ FC's have no use for a veno.

    And not every squad has a veno. They're quite useless except for the chi giving. Which hallf of them never seem to do anyways.

    And at 90+ every cleric that FC's should have cloud eruption...

    Ty for all the advice...I will definitely read through it numerous times and try to digest it....LOL I love how someone had to correct me as FC and FCC (go suck an egg) Show in in WC where it is labeled as FCC or make a fist and sit on itb:chuckle

    P.S none of that was said out of anger:) just I am big fan of visuals

    Yep, cloud eruption. Not even the sage chi skill can give chi fast enough to compensate for a barb in an extreme rush.

    A few things from my experience as a cleric:

    - Get some GS's.. because with your low HP it won't take much **** up on either your part or the squad's for you to die (especially at, say, Runewolf or Oceania, if someone misses hands on the latter, or hits the little Oceania [Sawfist]), and unless you have a nice squad that will wait for you to bring in someone with a level 11 rez to rez you, this can sometimes be between a few % points xp loss to up to very low double digits for a complete fail squad.

    - Genie skills to get and/or max are -- Holy path, Cloud Erupt (level 1-5 is fine), some heal skill (like tree or second wind), Expel, and Absolute Domain. Obviously you'll have to choose between these thanks to starving for affinity but I'd start off with Holy Path, Cloud Erupt, Tree/SW, and Expel. If you can't afford both Expel and Cloud choose Expel and tell the barb to slow the hell down til you get chi for BB.

    - If you leveled your apoth skill, vac powders can't hurt. Especially when doing multiple dragoons near the end.

    - On Dreadindra the squad will likely have you standing next to the boss. In your 80s you'll find yourself spending more time group healing than anything else, so besides doing that for this boss just try to move out of the way if you see a bishop spawn on top of you so you're not in it's melee range.

    - Be patient and don't be hard on yourself. Barbs and clerics control the pace of the squad, so if it isn't at your pace, either you're going too slow/fast, or need to get the squad moving or slow them down.

    Don't think anyone mentioned Vacuity Powders, but some of the faster squads will pull the dragoons in the two rooms before the final boss. It would be helpful to get anti-stun to keep BB up.

    You can also ask the archers for Alacrity if the barb pulls the dragoons. Gives you 8 seconds of blissful anti-stun b:pleased

    what kinda nub cleric needs pots for FCC.... 1-2 vac powder and holy path is about the only thing that is possibly needed.

    pple lvl up so fast recently they dont know wtf skills to use and end up relying so much on insta-items.
