"Boxes" in cities and towns

Forgive me if there's already a topic explaining this or reporting this.

Dunno if this is every server, but on sanctuary there are these random "boxes", with graphics like the doors in instances, in every. Apparently people are getting trapped in them somehow (through teleport or whatever the case may be).

I thought it was funny when I just randomly walked up on one earlier.

:P Anyone else encounter this have any fun with it? It's pretty entertaining if you ask me.

    They pop up once per month for 15 minutes to prevent cheating in the monthly race via teleporters. Of course they removed the monthly race ages ago, but this monthly nuisance remains.

    Yeah was stuck in one at plume for few mins they just disappeared then i was rather suprised to find doors when I tele'd there...must have been annoying to those in a hurry..

    Really? I don't remember seeing them in the past. Well then that's kind of tacky... b:shocked
