Can't imbue stuff

i know the itmes need to have a socket.

i also know how they equip higher level stuff

HOWEVER-i can't put the weap/armour icon onto the little blank square at the blacksmiths...

FML-am i missing out on something here?

    The only things that come to mind are if you don't have the items you are trying to imbue un-equipped before you try to put it in the slot, or if it says on the item it can't be imbued.

    You need to have the item in your invatory.
    You can't drag directly from gearslot to imbue slot

    It's a need-to-know thing b:thanks
    They forgot to explain it somewhere, so you either have to find out yourself or need to be told (and finding out yourself takes some.... weird trys)

    tell me about it. i tired dumping the item on the blacksmiths head for a couple of times.
