People think they are obliged to spam me with faction invites wherever I am, and why the hell they don't even bother to whisper me?b:angry Did this become an automatic action yet, when someones sees a guildless playes, he spams invite button mindlessly? I came from another PW servers that were overcrowded with inmature population and such behavior was common. But here on PWI I hoped the population should be much better (and I still believe in this), but this thing makes me a bit sad and very very annoyedb:infuriated

TBH, if you are guildless it is just something you are going to have to deal with. Just decline and move on.

Since I'm usually in PvP mode outside SZ people think I'm very high level or something and I got three faction invites in five minutes once. All of them PMed me first though.

Not necessarily --- I haven't gotten any of these in quite some time.

As far as I'm concerned, there's probably a few factors involved:
    • I'm on Sanctuary --- no newbies there, since it's not the "default" server when you start the game for the first time
    • I'm on Sanctuary --- a comparatively old server, so "everyone" knows "everyone" else
    • I'm obviously not a rich player --- people don't even have to bring up the Player Info to notice that. The visible parts of my armor is below my level, uber-armor probably looks different anyway, and until a short while ago my weapon didn't even glow at all. Now it's a quest reward item, not an uber-item --- people might not know the sword, but they'll probably recognize it as something that's not in the uber-item catalogue.
    • When I'm grinding I have a Crystalline Magmite out, not a Hercules. Or a Petite Sawfly, instead of a Phoenix.
    • People frequent the routes between Archosaur and the various dungeon locations. People gather at dungeon locations. People party up for dungeons. People measure their progress by how many minutes they need to complete a dungeon run. Why would guild people search the world map for players that don't even do BHs and dungeons?

All in all, I'm off the grid for just about everyone who could possibly do such random guild invites :-) Besides that, most of my PW online time is spent at height 78, travelling from one WQ NPC to the next... touching down only to make the exchanges or harvest materials around those NPCs.
Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng

thats why i created an faction to hold my alts when i played them. to save getting the almost constant invites at the time - now even though i dont play those alts, my friends use the faction for the same thing. they don't play all the time and so don't believe they should take up a space in an active faction but dont wanna put up with invites.

    You have three obvious solutions:

    1) Join a faction.

    2) Deal with it.

    3) Create your own faction. It's only 100k.

Make a faction, and pass lead to an alt.

Trust me the second step is crucial because if you don't then it defeats the purpose of making a guild as you will get spammed with "CAN I HAS JOIN (your faction) PLEASE?"

Well, then you can't have the fun of saying "NO, YOU CAN'T xD".

Yea, it sucks getting ninja faction invites. I've been factionless for awhile, but its not that big a deal. Just say no and move on. Perhaps an "auto-no" or "ignore" feature to faction invites will be nice.

Remember, the cool kids are factionless. b:cool

Yes, I know creating a faction costs only 100k, but I just like walking untagged with nothing written over my char's name. I love to see how the game has changed in the past 3 years since I learned about it, it got many nice features but unfortunately "decline faction invites" option stil missesb:sad
