Ok.

First of all I was wondering when i should start focusing on my reputation. Because i just hit lvl 30 and quite a few rep points short of what i need for this level. So, should i start farming more rep and just take every quest or do i delay it till further on and then start doing all the low level quests when i'm higher? I'm just asking because i read that you need to get enough rep to be able to do some nice quests and get good gear?

Secondly. Somewhat the same question about professions. At what level should i start working on my professions, is it already worth the time now or like before, should i delay it till i'm higher in level?

Thanks in advance!

You don't "need" any reputation, and judging by the rank requirements... lets just say these are way off. Reputation is extremely difficult to get, and pretty useless as far as I can tell. Doing quests doesn't hurt, of course.
Secondly. Somewhat the same question about professions. At what level should i start working on my professions, is it already worth the time now or like before, should i delay it till i'm higher in level?

Depends. The alchemy stuff uses materials that is harvested, and monster drops. The harvesting is easy, but the monster drops are somewhat rare, and trying to get them yourself at higher levels makes things worse since PW has a drop penalty for level difference.

So, if you start early you can collect the monster drops yourself. If you wait 'till later you'll have to buy them, or farm forever.

If you start now, remember to look for information on the lvl 4 quest when you reach level 3. To get from 3 to 4 you have to make a bunch of specific, rare items --- so manufacturing anything else is (usually) just a waste of materials. I was extremely lucky with my Craftsman as I got those items before my exp bar was filled, so I had to make 2 **** items to get to 100%, but that's the exception, not the rule. I haven't even reached Blacksmith lvl 4 yet, since tons of Tailor failures ate all my materials...

EDIT: Apothecary is slightly different, as there are no monster drops involved. The lvl 4 "quest" is just paying money. So none of the above applies to that, you'll never have problems getting the materials. It might just be boring to run through the low level areas to collect low level herbs.

Since your new I can tell you that you dont want to farm rep cause it's only very useful when you have 200k of it, and it would take you years of just doing that.

At your second question, whit abit of work you can get all of your "professions" but you wont be getting them quick but trough levels you should have them at decent lv b:victory

    There's probably no "best" one.

You can always do Apothecary --- maybe a bit late already for the lowest category of herbs, but you could have just grabbed herbs that you saw along the road you were travelling, or decided on something you'd like to make to level and only grabbed the herbs needed for that. No monster drops involved, hence no problems.

As for the other stuff, one can see it this way or that way. I mean, is it better to have a weapon, or do you prefer an armor? I believe you want to wear both, so how can one be better than the other? Unless you are a Venomancer, of course --- I could run around naked. But at the same time, I could probably do without a weapon as well...

Of course, you'll be wearing 1 weapon item, and 4 armor items (I think it's 4, don't quote me, count yourself). There's more than one jewelry as well. So you could argue that learning to make armor allows you to self-supply with 4 items, whereas learning to make weapons will only allow you to make 1 of the items you are wearing.

Of course, with all the fuss about getting materials to make uber-gear, the question is whether people actually MAKE that uber gear, or just buy it already made... so you might not ever actually use the alchemy skills at all except for levelling (I never did --- so far I've used ONE item that I've made myself, and I don't even have uber-gear at all. It's just that I'm too far behind with the alchemy skills, and I might not ever be able to catch up since there's a material category that's not even available on the world map).

Just do what you want to do. Unless you're spending a ton of money to buy materials from players, levelling the skills isn't much of a problem.
