Character creation & Bamboo Village glitch

in Bamboo Village the people and part of the vegetation are just greyish silhouettes:

and in character creation i can't create a customized Tideborn. i get a glimpse of the preset character and it fades into the same greyish silhoutte of Bamboo Village:

just to see if i could actually play a Tideborn character i clicked one of the shadows. in game it's perfectly fine. go back to character page, i stop seeing said character. i then pressed 'delete' and got this:

so it works fine there again!

i've already change my AVG settings when i had trouble seeing the pixels correctly, which now works fine but this one race. can someone please shed some light on what i should do??b:beg
i want to be able to customize my Tideborn... u_U'

    try verifying your installation from the launcher. if that still doesnt fix it, raise a support ticket with details of the problem, your pc make/model details and the output from your DXDiag.

    also the tideborn models are much higher resolution mesh than the older models so it may be an issue with your graphics card (although that would not explain the situation in bamboo...)

    i tried verifying my installation after upgrading my graphics card my it's still the same T_T

    from the launcher, drop your graphics settings to lowest then launch and see if it fixes anything, then once in game start raising the up bit by bit till the "fading" happens again.
