I think Frankies call on this is the only right call PWE could possibly make.

If he had tried to shoot it down, it'd reek of censorship / tyranny on PWE's part.

At the same time he hardly endorsed this either. There's a steep warning to be mined in Frankies post, that is, there is a big risk you will never see your money again.

That said, I would love if PWE did some official lottery like this though. With a set entry fee and the prizes distributed purely by odds, not by who has the most money to throw at it.

PWE? Do something that doesn't favor cash shoppers? Yeah.. I'm sure that will happen...

    (Hi Zumi! :D)

Messenger, me don't even need to run a mental scan to see the $$$ swirling around in your head.
    >.<'

Say this all goes according to plan, everyone chips in monies.
    Either
    1. You fall short of the amount = no one gets the weapon (and me am sure you alone don't have enough monies to buy an ultimate weapon on your own, you didn't even bother to tabulate the total cost...)
    2. It goes according to plan and you end up with a bit of excess monies.....(guess where the excess monies go to?......yesh your own storage device in your pants. (pockets)
    b:surrender

Even if it were 100% legit, it would be a stupid idea to join when the event plan itself be shoddy.
darthpanda16: Firefox crashed on me. Aryannamage: I don't think I am a GM that would be new.
    Hawk:Do this. closing thread
frankieraye: I'll see if we can replace the woman with a stick figure and the tiger fangs with marshmallows.//Issues like these need to get escalated quickly to minimize the damage.
Kantorek: Yeah.. you should try it. It's awesome.
Sihndra: Nope- not currently possible under any circumstances. Sorry.
LokisDottir: I mean...not haunting the forums, nope nope..
Konariraiden: You don't know what you are up against. You will lose.
    Waiting for...Hamster Packs!
    58% chance to get tokens
41% chance to get an all class pet hamster....but they has already been freed by the magic hamster.
1% chance to get ban hamstered with the message "Hamsters United!"

PWE doesn't care anymore. Destroying the game and not following their own rules has become on their to-do-list.

"What is this scam you speak of? We see nothing wrong with anything anymore"

"Hey there! Wanna play a game? Let's see how many people you could ban in a day and the most person with banned people wins! =D"

They would rather ban legitimate and hard working faction leaders for "false bidding" on TW because they "legitimately aren't capable of winning" TW. Scammers asking for billions of coin from their company are perfectly fine to do so, until they finish their scam and everyone is out whatever they put into it.

I have heard your concerns and have decided to reformat the game into a simple lottery. The prize is no longer an ultimate weapon as it is clear there is no support for this. Instead the prize will be the total sum of all pledges, both coin and items. Please see the updated rules for more info. It will continue to run under its current name.

And the above poster completely fails to get the point.

Changing the prize hardly does anything to make this more trustworthy.

    3. All pledges must be received in person or via the in-game mail system. I will keep records of each transaction via screen shots. Now you might be thinking, "I am not gonna send my money or my items to this guy!", but let me assure that I am of the highest quality character. I am honest and I do not steal. This game will only work on trust, so if you cant find it possible to trust me, you need not play.

Nobody, not one single body on Dreamweaver trust you or this game. You say you are a honest man. Why would an honest many create a game that would make many many people lose and one winner gian? Do honest men design lotteries? Do honest men have to convince others that they need to play the game alone on trust? You don't even see how bad of an idea this game seems to be. It is on the borderline of item scamming until someone trades you something, screenshots and then reports you for scamming and you'll be banned. Also, be careful who you accept items from as well. By the way, about the alt thing, it's possible you have an alt on a different account so that doesn't do anything. Also, please don't call this a game either, because games are fun, games involve action. This is more of a "will you get scammed or not" event, that most of Dreamweaver will evade and you will miss. b:angryb:irritated

If I had a dime for every time I was wrong, I'd be broke.
