Got in a pro squad yesterday ^_^

Veno (me), BM, barb, archer, cleric and wiz.

Wiz had to leave about 40-50 minutes into it -.- but we somehow got to the reflect wave, then the BM and barb couldn't attack, so...yea. My gears' not pro enough b:cry

    I just love HF+Nova :P

    Looking forward to Delta...

is it the same as Gamma? (same kinda system/process?) Of course mobs will be harder...

"Clerics heal health, they still can't heal stupid."

    So true. b:surrender

    8x Veno, 6x Cleric

Yeah Delta is similar but you don't have the "elemental waves" in it, it's just 5 groups of mobs with a theme based on the group (feligars stage 6, taurocs stage 7, etc)

And boss in Delta comes very soon after the last group so veno/last person needs to take it away from group while the others kill the mobs, because some bosses are super nasty with AoE stun/amplify/phys. or HP debuff.

There's no double wave but you have wave 3 and 9 in Delta which are by far the hardest compared to the rest, because they have mobs that stun/paralyze and drop BB/DB/Barrage b:shocked

tbh I find Delta fun and maybe I'm the only sin that likes it lol

The boss group (5th) in wave 3 has even worse mobs than just mobs who stun/paralyze you, they AOE paralyze that interrupt channeling. That's why they have to be taken out really fast since they could drop cleric's BB. But they have low HP. Good BMs will HF and DDs channel beforehand so you land Blade Tempest/Barrage/Red Tide on them.

If a certain sin is pulling the boss and you have a veno+sin squad, veno can nova on the mobs, almost guarantees a safe outcome. (mobs are immune to stun but not to seal).

I don't think there's a "proper" way to do 3rd wave but by far 4th and 5th groups are where most squads fail (been in plenty myself) and this strategy is by far what works best. Rule of thumb: focus on magic mobs. They have low HP and are the problem. Noobie BMs will just stun+HF at the frontline (melee) mobs though...

EDIT: oh yea another problem is if the barb dies while pulling the mobs (uses no antistuns). Then it's usually over since mobs will come 1-at-a-time making taking them out quick with an AOE + HF impossible. Although obviously some OP geared people can still make it, I'm talking about average or even below average people here...

You're the first sin I consider when looking for the extra in delta too lol :P

I was trying to do a practice run with my faction after watching a few video tutorials. Apparently, Gamma isn't something you can just walk in to and figure out on your first try. b:surrender I don't really want to talk about the outcome, but it seems fun if you know what to do. I'm trying to get better gear and charms before I try for a real run. It will give my faction something else to do besides running TT over and over again. Besides, the experience is amazing once you finish a whole run. In the mean time, I will go back to watching vids and reading up on tips about it. The one thing that confuses me the most is when people talk about specific things each class has to do, instead of just killing the mobs/bosses. I really want to learn what to do before I take any other squad in there, since I sorta have to tank stuff...

    1. someone needs to do the running quests. basically u get some tickets (the leader of the squad get em) get into the teleport get a quest with a npc that is rite there (it takes a few mins to appear)and...run (u can find videos about this) talk with some npcs then go back (using essences or running back) any class can do this with a good genie and holy path but bms r the best (sins r good to) but bms have HF that is good to kill the waves too.

2.some get into the teleport to the last room and kill all the mobs and dig the chests, any class can do it, i rather another DD to do it cuz again after they r done they can aoe the waves better than the venos.

3.u set auras with the beans u get from bosses/running quests/chests and mobs. i think u can get it done if u watch the tutorial >_<
