    If I had more than one set of armor I could argue that saph gems are a good idea too. Then again I guess to maximize effectiveness against magic, I'd get arcane armor for the Mdef and shard THAT with saph gems. I'd be a friggin wall against magic amirite?

    You're talking to me about how much I know, yet you don't even know how to spell. Get the **** out.

    Also i'm sure Sapphire Gems + Physical Marrow help loads against an Archer. If a player has no skill, that gear doesn't matter. I know. I will use Sapphire Gems against wizards, and even though Vit stones will enable me to essentially survive a hit, sapphire gems will probably only lower the damage by 200-300. -200 damage or +1k HP..imma take the HP.

    Also. What if you are fighting all classes at once, e.g Territory Wars. Do you use Sapphire Gems aswell? Pro AA Demon Cata Barb? Oh no! I've got it! What you do, is spam click armor with Sapphire Gems and armor with Garnet Gems, that way you get both the pdef and the mdef because you click so fast you get carpal tunnel, but also 20k of both defenses. Right? Right?

    It's a sign. Sapphire Gems are only useful in weapons. Whereas Garnet Gems are also used in armour way more than Sapphire.

    On the 3 year old pw my server where +10 is the standard and rank 8 is one in four,

    Most bms shard sapphires, they do this because marrows compound their effectiveness.

    However the only marrow I have seen NuBlade use was Physical. Against a Wizard.

    Just got word from the higher ups:

    If you are able to refine your gear to a level of +7 or higher, you are all clear on the sharding of sapphire gems.

    Of course, not everyone sees the logic behind this. And not all those that do can afford it. Too many people improperly shard their equipment. For example I saw a BM that sharded fists with metal damage. I wanted to reach through the computer and smack them with "you f***ing moron, you are a PHYSICAL DAMAGE DEALER" racing through my head. Someday people might learn...
