Okay so I made a Psychic and someone told me:

"Soulforce has no effect after lvl30."

Is that true?

    It's not true.
Soulforce determines the damage and success rate of some skills.

My guess is that the obviously rtarded person meant by "It has no effect" is that it does not work in PvP.
Unless, of course, you turn off protections.

If it didn't have any effect we would be stuck with skills like Soulburn (49) that would not do any damage because it is based on (y)our amount of Soulforce. And that... would suck.
Once upon a time I was stuck in Hall of Deception.
The Devs felt sorry for me having to smash lowbies all day, so they decided to promote me.
    I then rerolled a Psychic.

Soulforce is HUGE for a psychic at end game. It determines the strength of many of your skills, so whoever told you that obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.

Soulforce is the most important thing for a psy, since it affects all the "soul of" spells, soulburn's attack power per hit and Red tide's bleed. Without our soulforce, this spells are totally useless to us... Imagine not being able to stun opponents with soul of stunning, making enemy taking 8% soulforce damage with soul of vengeance (if mobs hit you) or even wasting 2 sparks to deal a fairly high damage without bleed for red tide. It would be a total disaster for all psychics.
Wow, I see you... Now you don't... isn't that trolling? b:shutup

    lol?

My Soul of Silence has around 11% chance to activate right now. For the probability-impared, that means slightly more than 1/10 times I get hit, I seal the target. For 5 seconds, btw. (Sage level).

Do I find this useful? Hell yes, and I feel naked when my Soul of Silence isn't on. I can't tell you how many times this buff has saved me from being floored by 5.0 sins and bms, especially after they use their anti-stun buffs.

Do I even need to mention Soul of Vengeance, Soul of Stunning, Soul of Retaliation and Soulburn? With high soulforce, all of these become godsends.
