Sooo, I recently made a Veno!!b:victory Whoop!
I'm still learning the class, frustrating since they're such slow killers compared to sins... But, I'm enjoying running around in a skirt... Its freeing! LOL!

Anyways, on the the point of the post:
Which is the better pet, in terms of... Well... Everything! Share your opinions, and hopefully some facts.

I have both atm, and badly want the cub to be better... But every time I look at the walkers stats my dream shatters... Some more experienced advice would be welcome.

Oh, some general info. I'm an arcane veno, lvl39 with a lvl39 cub, and a lvl36walker.

It's slow now, but later it picks up - against earth mobs you'll kill things in 3 skills. But we wont be fast as sins.

I get what you mean, actually still struggling abit with the same prob.
I use both a glacial and a shaodu, and even a frog for tanking. Depends, have had situations where one is better and next boss the other one is better again.
They're all up to my lvl atm but now im thinking about only lvling 1 of them seeing that in the future we'll be having a herc most likely. No need for more then 1 tank pet. But it stays fun having different pets :D The glacial is the best for holding more mobs on it then the faster cub or frog. But if im in a pt with another veno's thats using a rocktype i do use a smaller one cause 2 of those huge dudes really take over the whole screen..
For grinding i'd say take a DD pet and for bosses go for the glacial. Has better attack and more hp/def.

    << Voted for walker

My experience with a cub is that at later levels it just couldn't hold agro from me - be it on regular mobs or mini bosses...Alays used walker for tanking due to the extra HP. The extra HP and ATK on walker made it my more used pet between the 2. the higher magic def on cub doesn't ussually mkae up for the lower HP/PDEF in most situations.

The cub has size and that you don't have to worry about wether a mob is doing mag attacks as an advantage. The Walker on the other hand is high dps, slightly better phys res and hp and it's not quite as vulnerable to magic as old mags used to be. To me size was the deciding factor, as situational awareness i do consider enormously important, and it does impact my enjoyment of the game. But from an objective point of view the Walker simply is a much better pet.

In either case skilling becomes enormously important if you plan on keeping your pet through higher levels.

I voted for Cub since it has been on my Veno alt since lvl 23.

Basically I picked it over cause it looks way cooler (and so sweet when it rolls on its back) other than that after adding Bash to it skills I didn't notice that I steal aggro too much and even if I did there was always "Doo Doo" AKA Pounce to stun. Other than that the fact that most got walker.

I was about to get Armored Bear but that veno project kinda stopped at 74...
