battling with the quests

i am doing the normal quests and i cant seem to do them. one for example is the clean the cactopod where you have to kill 12 prickly cactopods but i have killed so many and yet is shows nothing is killed? am i doing something wrong? i cant do the rest of the quest for the same reason

    you are definitely killing the right mobs? I have seen some quests take forever to do, like when you have to get a certain drop, but never seen kill quests not count up although I have seen some that do not stack. try relogging and when you get back in, use the autoroute on the quest window to take you to the quest spot - see if that makes any difference.

    hi there thanks for replying but i have done all that. reloaded game so many times and used the router you name it. the one i have to kill prickly cactopods, i have killed so many and quest shows 0/12 still. i never battled with any of the other and i quecked i am right level and everthing. but now tried other quests too and its doing the same thing

    Try trashing the quest and getting it again.
