switching your character to this server?

is there a way to bring my character to this server? it would really suck to start a new character at lvl one in order to play with all my friends....

    You can't transfer a character from one server to another. You'll have to start from scratch, sorry.

    There's good reason for that too, if you are on a PvE server you can get all pumped up and farm items with no fear of losing, and then if they allowed you to come to the PvP server you'd be coming after having basically had a free ride to level and get gear. Not exactly fair.

    Seeing as how you level and get gear in instances, gear in TT/Nirvana, levels in FC, I don't see how being on PvP is harder to level.

    Um, not really. Level 0-30 is protected, isn't it, even on pvp server?

    And level 60+ is in TT, BH, etc. Not many people are caught up on their quests anyway. They level through BH, FC, etc. Especially now with hypers so cheap. They didn't stand out there killing 80 of this or 90 of that to level. Most haven't done it more than a few times before saying "ah, **** it!"

    So the terribly difficult period you allude to would be at most from level 30-60. I highly doubt there is any epic gear at stake during those levels.

    I don't know about being able to change servers repeatedly, but I can certainly see a pack coming out that you could buy to transfer servers. Just like switching from sage to demon, etc.

    And for those of us that liked to pvp in TW, with the changes to the TW rules, allowing those of us (that may have come to a pve server thinking we could scratch the pvp itch with TW) to go to a pvp server since they basically tanked TW, well, I think that would be fair.

    We don't need any PVE carebears coming to our servers. Just visit and yuo will see we have our own specialized Carebear squad. Their carebear stare hurts like a son of a $%^&*.

    Switching servers is a little bit more complex than just switching between sage and demon.

    And it has been said time and again there will be a naming issue. And I am betting people would still QQ if they transferred and found out that their name was HT-NameHere.

    i love how all these people from carebear servers think LC is gonna be an easy server to be on. you can argue instances and other irrelevant issues to me all day. the truth is some one with better gear is gonna gank you with all of his guildies.. they WILL camp you and they WILL wait outside SZ for you to come out. its called KoS. come on over and try it out for a bit. its really fun when you go in a BH/HH/Frost etc. with a party and people drop party and pk you. if you are not in safe zone you are not safe. but honestly i think that's what makes Lost City more fun than any other server. its a challenge. b:chuckleb:victory

    The most challenging part about this game is being able to bear through the boredom of farming your gear or opening a lot of packs, really is a killer on the wrist. :(

    please...Lost City is a shell of what is was in terms of dying while questing...I remember playing when RQ was one of the big guilds...god I would die so much while questing...now...not so much if at all.

    I actually came over from a PvE server 2 weeks ago. I would have to say there is little difference except that you can die while grinding, so I dont just sit in one place and grind as much as on a PvE server, so I'm having a harder time getting coin. It is a lot more fun though, and a lot less drama, because you risk dying when you run your mouth. I use guardian scrolls when Im pink, no gear loss. (I was on the PvE server for a long long time, so I do really have some real comparison)
