Quick noob question about wining BHs

I've searched for a post about a similar question, but I didn't really find one, so here goes. (Sorry for the noob question)

Do you ALWAYS need two wines to wine a dungeon? A friend told me that I need only one Ancientwell wine when I need to kill Pyro for BH59 (I don't need to kill Nob or Pole), but everyone else that I've asked in-game says two wines are necessary. Plus all the guides I've seen say that I need two wines.

So are they right, or is my friend being stupid?

    always two if you are going to wine higher level ones. think before 59 it is 1

    Two wines are necessary for 39+ instances.
    29 is the only one where one wine is needed.

    One wine will reduce the amount of mobs faced, two would be necessary to clear the majority of them in that instance. Whether the mobs cleared with one wine are mostly in the front, I don't know for sure. But if so, that would be why your friend said only one is needed. Though that was from around 2 years ago, no idea how it might have changed since then.

    I'm sure if you have one, it does nothing. You need both for 39+ like I had said.

    you do not need to wine valley of disaster and below. Anything above you should- which requires 2 wines.

    Lets see.

    First of all, you don't "need" to wine any BH. Wines are used just to reduce the amount of time the run will take.

    If you still want to use wines, then yes, you need 2 wines for BH59. But the problem here is... you need Pyro. b:shutup And Pyro is actually on BH69... which also uses 2 wines. But you didn't hear that from me b:shutup

    2 wines for BH69, because BH59 only has Zimo-Ofotis-Qianji-Drake-Gluttonix.

    But yes, your friend was mistaken.

    If you wanna wine it, yes, 2 wines are needed (you can kill all bosses or just 1, or w/e).

    As people above me said, pyro is bh69. I RAGE when I hear: "LFP bh59 pyro". I had such examples in game (with random bh's) and I calmly pm the person saying that this and that boss is in that, not this bh. There were some people who thanked me, some that did not understand what I said (non - english speakers), and some that replied: "pyro a single boss in the chain of bh59".

    You either search for a party saying: "LFP bh69 pyro", or "LFP bh59/69, pyro first".

    Okay, thanks everyone for responding =) b:thanks My friend is QQing because he's been confirmed a raging idiot. b:chuckle He'll get over it.

    As to the "BH59" title, I called it BH69 originally because I knew Pyro was in Wraithgate. Then a lot of people corrected me in-game ("NO, you noob, I don't mean BH69 pyro!") when I was asking around for a squad the other day. Which made me even more confused about all this. XD This noob will be calling it BH69 from now on. b:victory

    Now that we're discussing the number... correct me if wrong but, wasn't it Wraithgate where you couldn't get the last tab till 70? If thats the case, shouldn't it be known as FB70? and therefore BH70? b:questionb:surprised

    Last two tabs, and not until you were both 70 and had completed the 202020.

    FB79 is even more weird. You get the first 2 at 77, the third on handing those two bosses in, the last not until 79 as part of culti.

    For what it's worth, the list of wines, wine costs, and number needed for FB locations is available on the PWI wiki here: Wine

    The only FB locations that only need one wine are FB19 and FB29, all of the rest need two wines.

    Yes, Two wines at all times are needed for FB's/BH's for FB39 and up. and yes your friend is being a raging idiot :D

    you need 2 wines for any bh actually worth wining...

    anyone who wines bh29 has serious issues and needs to L2P
    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.
