How To AOE

friend letting meplay her level 59 psy atm and she has all of her AOE's up to grade and i was wondering how do i AOE grind in white or black voodoo... do i gather them up cast BoL holy path away then earth vector... questions need answers help please >.<

Black Voodoo. You won't do enough damage in White to kill them before they all catch up to you and smack you to death.
I just do the lazy / non-charm-**** way and Earth Vector > Sandburst > Glacial > Sandburst if there are a couple mobs close to each other. Sometimes I'll start with Crystal Light if they're in anything that resembles a line.
I know there are other (probably better) ways to AoE, but that's just the way I do it cause I'm lazy like that. b:surrender[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Other than that....white voodoo nerfs your damage. Vector doesn't always stun, especially if she only has level 1.

Well, got to admit that earth vector is kinda not really good except the stunning part itself when left at level 1 since of its percentage of stunning, the stun duration and the damage... But I prove you wrong on earth vector.
Earth vector is actually a very efficient spell for a psychic... since it helps prevent mobs from coming to close to you. At level 10, it will be (will be because I am still level 60+) heaven to us and even to our own squad, since the duration is like 5-6 seconds.... and the percentage is quite high.
On the other hand, out of all the magic classes in this game, I will find psychic the best AOE/crowd control character. Since our "soul of" spells and soulburn spell make enemies pay back for the damage done to us, each of our AOE have 1 special "bad" buffs like sandburst lowering targets accuracy, red tide have mid chance at level 1 to do bleed over soulforce, which to me is heaven, since each time my red tide's bleed successfully bleed my opponents, it deals like 1400+ damage each time my opponents bleeds.
Our aqua impact, spirit blast and even landslide have quite a high damage output, with slowing down enemies and push back (spirit blast don't have any special effects).
I got to admit I enjoy playing psychics, and from my experience, I can kill like 4 mobs in 4 AOE attacks, using earth vector > Sandburst blast > Glacial Shards > sandburst blast OR Red tide > Sandburst blast > earth vector > Glacial shards. I can say that out of al the magic classes, psychics are the most efficient AOE grind characters since of our high damage output, many AOEs with special effects in it and very fast channeling.Wow, I see you... You don t aoe grind more than 5 mobs, psy are too squishy. Well for some mobs you ll be able to but most of the time you can t and it s more of a waste of mp/hp pots than anything.
Only thing i actually aoe grind was Dragonmaid.0 -

And I am now going to answer everything you said.
She is asking about a level 59 psy. Not a level 70, nor a level 80, 90, or 100.
At level 59 you have Earth Vector level 1 only. Earth Vector at 1 has a 65% chance of a 3 second stun. That's about enough time to get off ONE AoE before having to run again. With a three second stun, she cannot efficiently AoE grind. Glacial Shards doesn't hit 100% as well, so two of her immobilizes are at a low percent chance of actually working.
Vengeance is NOT GOOD for AoEing unless sage. If you have multiple mobs hitting you, it is going to drain your mana FAST. Silence has a low percent chance of actually working, so you cant' rely on it. STunning only hits one mob and lasts one hit of the five you'll be taking every second. Retaliation also only lasts one hit.
Red Tide is the worst thing you could use two sparks on, really. I'd much rather use them on tide spirit for the extra channel speed, or once I get to 100, stone smasher. Red Tide is the most mediocre skill we have and it's not worth using it until you get it to a rather high level, even then the bleed is not all that great unless you have like, 30K soulforce.
But here's the thing that I am going to reinstate.
The player in question is level 59. Not your level. Think about what level skills she might have to use.┐('~`;)┌0 -

i recently maxed my tide for ****s and giggles the other day and it's not a bad aoe now that the bleed is reliable. i dropped it on a group of 5 ppl in a TW once and they all got bled, then took like 5 steps and died. was quite comical b:laugh
i do agree that it is really horrible at the lower levels tho. it's a total waste of sparks unless the bleed works0 -
oo, my bad sorry... But I am like also level 60+, so my experience of playing psychic is not as high as you. I would kind of agree almost everything you said there, our spells are not really good at the beginning level, but as soon as its max, is will become our supreme spells.Wow, I see you...
