i love my walker but if there is a better pet out there than it's for me.
so how many millions of coins are they, hercules, going for now? and, besides spending cash, are they only in the auction house?
i am going to guess and say 100 million coins.

    you dont really know the total on your server unless you check some catshops, or the AH(like 300 SoF for 300,000 or so).

    Mine cost me about 45mil, but thats because I CS'd the first 3600.

    On sanct it was probably about 75mil..

    Pull out a calculator.
    Go to the auctioneer and punch in the price of gold (e.g. 430k on HT).
    Multiply that by 186.5.
    Multiply that by 1.02 to account for auctioneer fees.

    430000 * 186.5 * 1.02 = 81,798,900

    That's the average price for a herc/phoenix w/o sale if you convert the coin to gold yourself.

    Refer to this post if you want to compare to cat shop prices. Usually buying the gold yourself is the cheapest way to go, but occasionally you'll see something underpriced on a cat shop or AH.

    More than 80mil? Woah... O.o; I got my Herc for 67mil in June!
    I haven't checked the prices since then, so I'm not sure.

    I definately agree that a pet that you have to invest that much money into, whether it be in game coin or real money should be a lot more attractive than a big gold buddha with a cranky face :(. Plus i don't see why they need to make all the best veno pets so large!

    I was also wondering do you really need to have a herc to make it in the higher levels of the game?

    Venomancers, or yaojing in Chinese, are literally female seductress demons (closest western equivalent would be a succubus). So while it may not be aesthetically pleasing, it is quite fitting that their most powerful pet is demonic-looking.

    Yes, absolutely right on the veno. But i thought Herc was based on a much different tradition than demons.

    Well, 99.99% of the time people will look for specifically Venomancers with Hercs. Sadly, if you don't have one people just won't accept you. It's an expectation, you could say.
