What is the fascination with trolling?

First lets work out what it means

Trolling: In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response.

Now IMO there are three types of trolls there are the

Funny and unique Trolls = Rare
Old matieral/Meme Followers = Common
Fail Trolls = Very common

Once it took a bit of wit to be a successfull troll where as now it seems to be the misconception that just acting dumb or posting total nonsence makes you a troll some people seem to take alot of pride out of making them selves in to a troll and try to hard making themselfs look really immature.

Im not going to push my self out of this by saying I have never trolled someone as in the past I have but this stuff going on around the forum is quite sad in my opinion and is in no way something you guys should be proud of. If your seriously commited to trolling then please put some effort in to it and try not to turn it in to a e peen event where you physicaly look for props on previous trolls.

If you want some tips on trolling then head over to 4chan the place where it originated (well become famous) or better still keep your trolling to a minimum instead of trying to force it out all the time.

Trolls go ahead now post you hate or comments or just random comments as you usualy do.

    You should have seen Rawrgh before all these fail trolls in here, long ago.

    He's not overusing memes, doesn't quote a long post saying "lolumad" or some other **** like that, he actually does witty responses to try to ridicule the person above (when trolling) and most often it is in a funny way.

    That's the real definition of a troll, he aint got the best jokes but it's better than all other so called "trolls" in here

    To be honest, when I was first labeled a troll,
    it was coincidentally at the same time as one of my school projects.
    So I decided to study trolling and flaming on the internet.

    This server sadly has many fail wannabe's.
    How?
    I don't even want to ask.
    Pathetically, they should just stop and go on their way.
    Its quite boring to be honest.

    Quite intresting to see this thread trashed. I am trying to find where I broke the terms of service or do the admins/ Mods just trash anything these days without writing comments?.

    Are we thatr worthless to you that you can do as you want when you want with no reasonining.
