Is there a weapon progression guide for Barbarians?

I want to know what weapons I should be using at each level?

if u asking about TT weapons progresion, then im pretty sure that there are some guides/posts. Try using google with "weapon progresion" or smth similiar. Also u can just check TT forges in Archosaur to see which weapon is needed for higher lvl.

Everyone plays differently and chooses different weapons/armor. Just use one at your level ;)

I personally used the TT 60 axes (only 1 of them to choose from)
TT 70 -> Thunderbolt (Also had Calamity Axes of Blood)
79 -> Cudgel of Ancient Alloy
TT 80 -> Farmed mats to make Heraldry Axes, then made my Giant Ape Axes (still use my Cudgel more often though)
for TT 90 -> decomping my Giant Apes to make Star Axes

For 97 I have my Dragon's Vibrancy mold ready. I'll use this a LOT till I farm up mats/money for 99 or 100 gold.

    lvl 20 lvl 20 stash
lvl 30 handaxes of demon roar
    lvl 43 xeno's sledge hammer
    lvl 51 gale dual hammers
    lvl 60 skeleton axes (tt60)
    lvl 70 Heraldry axes (tt70)
lvl 80 giant ape axes (tt80)

as my first on this server was this barb my very first mold ever was xenos
and i wasnt able to get gale for my barb at the time he could use it

i did fine with xenos till lvl 60 but if you can afford the next weapon its always good to get it
Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

Not a bad start at all... then it could go:

    lvl 70 calamity axe
    lvl 80 thunderdeath edge
    lvl 90 calloused lion's
    lvl 99 brimstone edge
    lvl 100 ashura of purgatory
    lvl 100 wheel of warfog

..at least thats more or less what Fuzzy's progression was/is. Me still need to collect a few more rapture's to realize the warfog.

Honestly while those Thunder Death Edges were great unless you plan to have like a bm too thats axe user i would for go those axes for the simple fact that with Fcc now a days can take you from 80-90 in 10 days or less(if your really hell bent on lvling and have an *** ton of hypers on you) i Would say those axes will become obsolete real quick...however the lvl 90 calloused lion's will last you into forever. Be aware however they also cost a small Fortune to craft....b:shocked

What Vorgen says is true, Fuzzy can't deny it. However, me would try and convince me barb brothers not to rush through 80 simply because they can.

Many people (of all classes, not just our barb brothers) get to 90 at light-speed these days and there is a much spoken train of thought that farming an axe like the thunderdeath, or a set of feng's armour, is somehow a waste of effort.

But do stop to consider for a moment what happens once you reach 90. Fuzzy pretty sure you are going to want to get your hands on a nice shiny set of Mountcrasher gear. Looking at the recent changes to TT it will be the next worst thing to impossible to farm the GBA's to craft the set if you neglect 80 gear. Callouseast is a difficult boss these days so there is no point in handycapping yourself before you even get there.

80 gear is a big improvement over the Army Commander's stuff and it WILL make life considerably easier once you do reach 90. Fuzzy understands it very tempting and very easy to simply frost past it all but why do it only to give yourself a disadvantage later on.

A well geared low 90 barb outfitted with a solid set of 80 armour and a nice 80 axe will be far more in demand than his counterparts who don't have it.

    ....just Fuzzy's 2 cents. b:thanks

I personally spent my 70's tanking through all the TT 80 runs so I would have my 80 gear ready ASAP. I noticed that it took upgrading a full 3 pieces from TT 70 up to TT 80 in order to actually raise my pdef by 1%. Still.. I tanked lots of TT 2-2 while everyone and their mother was "skipping" the 80s. My mindset was to farm up all 13 dust of stars I needed, then level on up to 88 and go to 3-1, farm my mats there, level up - do 2-3 rinse repeat. Eventually it got to be hard as hell to get a halfway decent TT squad going. Soooo... I sold 9 dusts for 3.1 mil, bought mats for arms and boots - and bought a few molds I'd wear instead of tt90 armor:
Cuisess of Brahma (now wearing +4, socketed w/4 immac citrines)
Mold: Plate of Endless Warden (spent maybe 100k on this) 97 chest - beats the P.def from both 90 and 99 gold IIRC
Mold: Dragons Vibrancy (spent 300k) - what can I say? A weapon with +dex add as well as -.1 interval and +accuracy... NICE.

Cost of those gears in comparison to TT 90/99 gold is extremely cheap. The way I see it, if I were to farm up for 99 gold armor - the amount of coin put into making one of those items could be better used on a "lower end" piece of gear obtained dirt cheap in order to make refines and shards. Of course I will be trying to go for 99 gold boots and arms for that extra -.2 interval.

TT gear is nice and all.. but its not the end all be all of the game. Sold my TT80 Chest refined +2, socketed w/2 flawlesses in AH for 2.5 mil. My old 80 legs I've replaced with the Cuisses of Brahma.. sold for 2.375 mil. And I'm rocking higher HP and defenses than I was previously on my tt80 gear.
