Where can I find Duke Blacke in Archosaur?

Hi - For Dragon Quest (20) the step to find Duke Blacke in Archosaur, I found this on 1perfectworld.com:

"Mission #9: Visit Duke Blacke At Archosaur (~574, 645)
Note: Duke moves around but most of the time can be found here. "

I spent an hour last night wandering around then two hours at the spot and two more hours so far today at the spot - but can't find him.

That location is the walkway in front of the Elder of Archosaur.

Any tips for finding him? Thanks much in advance. :)

    If you walk the main path of Archosaur and check every orange dot that pops up on your minimap (just hover over it to see the NPC's name), you'll find him eventually.

    I've tried doing that for a long time now, and I still can't find him...I can't believe it's this impossible to complete a quest!!! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Fortunately, it's not impossible, so you're saved from needing to believe it.

    He moves around in Archosaur. If you can't see him you're either in the wrong place, and need to try somewhere else, or you're in the right place and overlooked him, in which case you need to look again.

    If you really can't find him try just coming back later, or asking people if they've seen him.

    Sometimes he hides from me.

    I have seen his path has take him through the arena, and I could barely see him when he was buried in there.

    I finally found him...by pure luck actually, someone had just passed him. NOTE: he did NOT show up as a orange dot on the mini map, so they must have fixed that. Good luck, all...you'll need it.

    If he doesn't then they've changed it extremely recently, as in, more recently than the last patch.
    Often the minimap can take a while to update, so someone will appear yellow, then change to orange/purple after a little bit.

    Duke Blacke roams around. He is always in archosaur, generally south or west district I believe. I often see him on the west side of the south district on a path, once I saw him by a pet manager. Like I said, he is somewhere in archo. You can always ask for help.

    Yeah, this dude is a pain to find. It took me a while to find him, as well. It makes it even harder to find him when its a holiday and the server is full. He kind of blends right in with the crowds.

    Yes he will. He will also be standing at one place, not walking around :)

    Yes, he will ALWAYS have a yellow shield over his heads and if you look closer on that you can read:

    yes he will move in a counterclock way, just check main paths in arch in the opposite way and youll find him
