Even prior to 59 (for sunder and invoke) Barbs should be able to outlast the stuns from Blademasters around the same level on pure HP alone, same with fighting venos that have bramble guard up (even if they are heavy venos). When you fight mage classes, save your bestial rage for after they get your hp below 50% so you get that awesome magic defense for 10 seconds. Assasins you may have trouble with at that level, and may continue to have trouble with as you get higher in level since their damage magnitude gets increasingly stronger in proportion to your HP. Best thing to do against them is use your Mighty swing as soon as you get a chance and hope it stuns them. If bestial onslaught hits a 'sin its gonna knock a HUGE chunk out of his HP.

After 59 if you see a veno cast "bramble hood"... stop hitting them (or invoke) so you don't suicide.

At level 79 get your Violent Triumph to have 10 seconds immunity to stuns/slows/immobilization skills that the other classes try to use on us.

One thing I dont understand is... I was looking at the veno skills and bramble guard says it lasts for TEN WHOLE MINUTES. So are you suppose to invoke the spirit for 10 whole minutes or what I dont understand that.

I believe that you are talking about two different skills under one name my friend.

Bramble Guard - reflects 60% melee damage to the attacker but NO DAMAGE REDUCTION. We are pdef based p attackers, venos are mdef based; so our damage, which would not be reduced by this skill, does 100% damage to them while the reflected 60% damage is reduced to less than half by our p def. Lasts for 10 minutes

Bramble Hood - 200% melee damage reflection (read: DON'T USE ARMA) and 75% damage reduction. So they won't be taking any damage from us but they'll return ****loads of it to us. If this buff is on then we better stay away from the veno. But, thankfully, the buff lasts only 15 seconds. So what do you do? Take off to the air, make the veno follow you, after 15 seconds get close to her/him and use TE to either one shot (at low levels it should work like that) or use any other skills to finish her off (their skill has a cooldown of 30 seconds and needs 2 sparks).

We can't do much against Sleep by clerics and Stus from sins at low levels. Your best option would be to try and stun them back either by Swing or Occult Ice; you won't even have a Expel to Absoulte Domain at that level to make yourself immune. Once you get to 79 you'll get a skill that'll grant you stun immunity - the tables will turn after that.
