To the players since 2008

For those of you who have been here since 2008, and even if you sometimes logg in and out every once in a while, to me this is totally Unfair as it should be to you as well.

Why couldn't the GM's come out with something else for the 2009 Players???????? Maybe like A different kind of mount!!! Not the same 2008 Mount! This was suppose to be a rare mount that only players from 2008 could only have. Now you will see half of PWI on them.

So what does this mean? EAch year anny mounts will be given away over and over and over again? To me, this mount meant that I was one of the few players still on this game since 2008, and that it was "only" one of the few mounts available to certain players from that specific date. I'm toally outraged right now.

I'm going to guess Valentines day belt and necklaces, and the Yin and Yan necklaces are going to be brought out again???? b:angry

    Of course most people are going to come in here and say "QQ more" as these players have been playing past 2008, and never actually recieved it.." b:angry

    I honestly don't see why anyone would QQ about this at all. I don't need a mount to tell me how long I've been playing. I don't care if others have the same mount as I do.

    This is a game. I play to have fun, not to feel "special" because of a mount. I'm just happy they decided to give us something.

    -- Im gonna get about 5 mounts in Chars that I dont even use since like the second world war ... So ask a GM to give you one of those.. i dont mind.. because I wont even be bothering to login in those chars..

    I quit for 4 months, come back, stop buying zen entirely ....and they give me a free mount. So I can't really complain. b:chuckle

    I do think some of the older players are being a little selfish though. Technically everyone in the game should be given a mount or some other gift. The whole argument of "I want something no one else has so I can be special and brag" is a little childish. There's nothing "rare" about it whatsoever either. It's free and untradable and has literally zero value.

    Like I said, I don't mind all the players after 2008 recieving another mount, but at least it not being the same one.

    Eh, don't care. I find it nice that people have to have been in game between 1 and 1.XX years in order to get the mount. And wasting the time recoding the mount with reskin for just a couple of us doesn't make much sense. Now it is able to show who has been around at least a year, and we have fashion to showcase our 2nd year. So those of us who were here longer, will always be a year ahead of everyone who came after. Isn't that "special" enough for you?

    I am excited about my new fasion coming. I am curous if it will all look the same colours or will everyone get different random colour pieces.

    Of course I wanted another new special mount but heh, whatever.

    I was wondering the exact same thing.

    Before you know it I'll have clown colored fashion in my mailbox and will need 20 dyes to make it look right. But hey it's free, not gonna complain.

    About the anniversary mount, I already had a suspicion that these would be re-released.
    And I agree with it.

    Nobody likes ''exclusive'' stuff like, oh I didn't sign up before that date, now I'll never get it. Unless you did get it ofcourse, then you won't be complaining right?
    So to solve this they made anniversary gifts a matter of playing time instead of a signup date.

    The system would probably be like that after about a year (worst case being a little under 2 years) of playing, you'll get an anniversary mount. Then after about 2 years you'll get a fashion set, and this keeps going on forever unless PWE decides to cut it off after a few rounds, making the fashion the 1-year gift (so there won't be 10 different gifts to give out in the future).

    This way the new players can get all these exclusive items eventually, and the old players get something new to play with.
