    DDing has kinda ruined the whole barb/tanking/holding agro deal.


    They should make it so that Barb's agro skill cannot be stolen from so easily (or at all). It kinda renders Barb-tanking pointless. b:sad

    my lvl 100 barb with hh90 hh90 star axes pwning a 100 fist bm with deicide claws and good gear...

    but whats the point of being a barb when you dps is hella low and our jobs are now taken by sins or bms.. so barbs are only fun mid lvl range.. unless your guna cashshop ya barb to hell even then still pwned....

    so really the best moment as a barb would be logging off and rolling as a sin

    Then post on your barb silly fishy, or go back to playing BOI.

    Just a little bit ago was dueling a 100 sin......i managed despite all my misses to have her on the ropes for the majority of the fight. it came down to the wire with me and her both almost dead and she got me...but it was a 7 min fight X3. Just froze her used Violent Truimph and and my ToP(she kept dissappearing on meh) and chases her about ran when she demon sparked but other then that was a really close fight...just gotta do something about my accuracy and i think i could be very formidable

    A damn good barb will be returning this weekend after months of not playing. :) best moment: anytime I was in a party well except 3-2 :) *excited*
    It's a game and I'm proud to be a stupid fail demon barb!
    My EPIC Fail Demon Barb has 40k/48k HP and my stat points are as follows:
    VIT 552 STR 310 DEX 60! b:surrender

    Unless you're 5.0 with good gear or have well over 30k hp

    Yeah...they changed 3-x.

    3-1's doable at your level, but 3-2 and higher...you better make sure you got cash shopped HP. Steelation is now a 5.0 aps boss. He'll own you if you try and tank that when he does that buff. Also, squads will die a lot due to aggro reset.

    But since the update I haven't seen a barb who can successfully tank that guy. My squads usually skip it now. >.<

    He's tankable. Tank just has to kite him when he buffs up for 5 aps, and waits for the veno to purge him. You are bringing venos for purge, right?

    BH 29 , me lvl 49 cleric and barb lvl 46 . He was AWESOME . grabbed all mobs used roar spammed FR , waited for me to meditate.

    Yes there are good barbs out there.

    Bad barbs are either 1) poeple who need some1 to teach them (but end up good)
    2) people who refuse to listen (and end up trolls)

    Just got outta TW.....i killed a bunch load.....Arma and sunder and solid shield and Beastial Rage i Never died for the first time i figured out a strategy that finally worked it was a kick *** fight and i feel sooo proud of myself for doing sooo well....b:victoryb:laugh

    But i have to say the support of my squad the cleric healing me the archers covering my rear and the veno slapping bramble on me...got me through that TW realatively unscathed!!

    as a fellow barb i somtimes find it funny to see epic fail barbs too.

    so i was on my low wiz.. and i se a barb in pk by broken bow bluff

    so i check his gear look like lvl 30/35 stuff..

    i watch him for a while then challenge him to a duel

    figuring that "hey he is in pk mode" kinda rude not to accept a duel.

    he accepts and we start.. i kill him in 3 shots.

    he goes: Nice what lvl are you. im only 36 atm

    Umm 23... i think you should consider leaving pk mode...


    so thats my story how i beat a lvl 36 barb with a 23 wiz
    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

    I could tell the story of how my lvl96 barb beat a 101 wiz who started the duel by putting me to sleep...

    Or the story of how a same level BM beat on me for about 5 minutes before I lost the match by armageddoning and missing.

    Still too low to have had any proper awesome moments, but I did tank the bh39 bosses, where I was the lowest level, and manage to hold agro from the entire squad.

    With lv30 fists. O_o

    I know a good barb when he runs into a group of mobs and ACTUALLY AGGROES THEM ALLb:pleased When I see that at the start of a bh I get a happy feeling, cause its almost always a good run.


    I've met many more good barbs than bad barbs. The bad ones just provide such funny stories they're fun to talk about. Good barbs provide nice, uneventful instances.

    Well...ive not that fresh memory of yours but i can recall a few FCC runs where i stood alone with all the squad on the floor, tanking with no great pressure and manage to stay alive smoothly until the slowest clerics of all time came back to ress em all...see slasher or big room boss and so on b:laugh

    a 5k arma crit/zerk on an unprepared lvl 100+ barb? A hyper/oracle poorly equipped barb? A fist barb? Not so difficult to believe.

    Lol i know i am going to be a slight Hypocrite as i post this. But this is just too good to keep to myself. I had an Fcc squad last night. i was 91 barb and my wife a 91 cleric.....All the rest was 85 or under we had 2 Bms a Psy and an Archer.

    This run we ran was sooooo smooth it was insane i remember one moment were we were coming to the end of a hall after the Buff taker boss(can't remember his name) With the Two Bishops and the Glacial Shade at the end, That bm that ran with me llDanll ran up and stuned both bishops just before they cast there immobolization skill. There was no running around...there was no panic like"Oh **** the Psy pulled the all!!!" it was smooth very freakin smooth. I mean we had a squishy moment with the second bm but then what low lvl low hp newb dont die when they get bubbled by the Lord Holan boss. That right there was the only time of any real death. I would take that squad over any high lvl squad just because of how they conducted themselves in that FCC. That was the most Pro newb squad i have ever run with and if you guys happened to be reading this thank you for an awesome runb:victoryb:cute

    So this wasn't about an awesome barb but showed what an awesome squad can really do.
    So this is a Damn Good Squad Post!b:victory
