End-game? Are you kidding me or what?

The past 2 days I am seeing an online poll at the home page with this title: "What is your favorite end-game activity?".

First of all let me clarify my opinion about online games and end-game (...). I strongly believe that an online game should not end! If it does then eventualy players get bored and quit it with the repeating stuff. Game developers should put new content ingame at tactical intervals so they keep everybody occupied and happy. Just out of the top of my head some suggestions: new quests / or make old ones more chalenging as levels go up / new areas / new dungeons / new ...something ! Not only new beautique items ... Not all players play for them ... Yes they are an important aspect of the game, I agree. But there should be more new content in other areas too!

I dont know whos idea was that online poll at the home page. Game developers thought of it? Or some web developer? Either way I think its a big ...mistake! Imagine this: I am a new possible player that I just found the home page of PWI and what I read there? ...end-game stuff! I click close / back / get_out_fast cause if I need a game that ...ends then I will not invest time and possible money to it. Yes invest time! But now with all these ...endless packs and hypers and such, seems PWI ends realy fast. And then? You get 100-102 and you wonder: "Now what?"

Please dont let me ask myself that question ("Now what?")! I enjoyed this game alot (used past here but I still enjoy it although not so much...). Make me happy again as I was when I was level 19 in my first FB! When everything seemed so bright and new. Now I am lost in a repeatable monotony (I am 101 lvl...) and the game/web developers poking me with ..end-game polls. Please? Do PWI intresting again? At least for all 100+ players. And if the 100+ players dont care they will quit eventualy. I assume you dont want that...

    Nothing lasts forever. Eventually you feel you accomplished the goal you set out to do when you started the game. Once that happens, you move on. I'm going for full nirvana, with a Glaive of Destiny-Infinity. Should take me a few years to get all that. So i'm set when it comes to things to do when the time for end game comes.

    Long story short: This game doesn't need anything else end game related to be added in just yet. In my opinion anyways...

    What's worse than the poll is that there really aren't any end-game activities anyways. Nirvana? It's easier than Frost. Lunar? Last I heard it was glitchy. TW and TT aren't really end-game. 3-2 and 3-3 maybe, if you can find a group of friends to farm TT99 with... and then what?
    Basically, the only end-game activity that comes to mind is farming. Mindlessly farming. TT99, Nirvana, whatever. And for what?

    Also: we need more endgame stuff besides Nirvana and HH. Hell we already have an endgame instance that's broken, go fix warsong.

    You see that's the problem.

    This game doesn't have anything fun PvE wise. Yes it takes years to farm full Nirvana set unless you spend lots of $$$$, but that doesn't equal fun. Not everything that takes a lot to accomplish means you have "something to do" and won't quit because of boredom.

    You'll see... you'll probably quit yourself and give up out of boredom before you even get 2nd piece of g15 nirvana armor. People that manage to get more either spent $ or farm it so much but are being bored at it and only play because of their friends.


    In short this is the most static MMO I played so far, with things stupidly hard to achieve just by grinding and not actual challenge. Look at warsoul, look at rank 8, look at Nirvana... hell even TT golds are too rare. I mean sure for a static game like this many will say drop rates of gold are normal... but I'm talking about how most other fun games have it, more dynamic. At least once (if not twice) a year you should get new level cap and/or a handful of new dungeons or land to explore. This also means this "top gear" should be reasonable to achieve and not insane like in here so people can get it before the big update actually comes.

    Best end game activity is Shrine of the Tides because it will never work so your goal will never be met and thus the game will go on. b:laugh

    I love going there (in fact will be there over Thanksgiving this year..YAH!!!) and was offered a job there doing shows, but I am not a HUGE kid person and tbh I am not sure I could be THAT happy all of the time...although I am sure it would have been amazing acting and overall experience b:cute
