Hey guys, im a newb barb just wanting to confirm something. So far i believe the max negative interval we can get is -.6 right?

Weapon -.1
pants -.1
combination -.1 lionheat boots and chest
combination -.1 ornaments
tome -.05 love me up and down
cape -.05
bracers -.1

total = -.6
at rate with fists = 3.575
so without any demon spark, Im planning on going sage btw, and using fists would i still be able to remain permasparked? Also, would demon barbs do more damage in humanoid form than sages, if so please explain.

P.S how much chi do we gain per hit? I think i should test it out but im not sure if it changes when i lvl up o.0, probably doesnt but i just want to be sure.

    TT99 HA and LA -int bonus is only -0.05.

    If you want to perma-spark as a Sage, you need 4.0 aps if I'm not mistaken.

    I tried for a Sage Claw Barb, but its just too expensive. You need Nirvana Leggings and -int tome, along with all the other -int gear most claw users have.

    On HT, thats close to 375 mill for just those 2 items. Its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper going Demon with Demon Spark.

    As for chi per hit, I believe its 5 per normal hit. (Too lazy to check it out. lol)

    As for Demon Barbs doing for dmg, in essense, yes because Demon Barbs have very high crit rates, but Sage Barbs do have higher constant damage since Sage Mastery gives 100% more weapon damage gain compared to Demon's 75%.

    But if you are going claw, Demon can save you loads of money, but a Sage Claw User is just as awesome imo. b:victory

    Okay then, what would the euqips be to reach 4 atk per second as a sage and boy does that sound expensiveb:cry

    Attack speed 1.67: claws with my 0.1 interval
    Attack speed 2.00: TT99 wrists (See below)
    Attack speed 2.22: TT99 wrists+boots/chest set (HA or LA. I personally prefer LA wrists/boots + HA ornaments so I don't have to gimp my defense too much when compared to HA legs/wrists + LA ornaments. However that's strictly PE and more expensive than using LA ornaments)
    Attack speed 2.50: TT99 ornaments (if you have HA wrists+other, use LA ones. If you have LA wrists+other, use HA)
    Attack speed 2.86: Lunar cape
    Attack speed 3.33: Nirvana leggings
    Attack speed 4.00: Love, Up and Down or Pan Gu, Creator Tome.


    Note that even at 4.00 attacks/sec, you're only able to maintain permaspark for about 5 or so starting at 399 chi. after that, you'll need to spend a couple of seconds unsparked to get enough chi to start the cycle again. The reason for that is because you'd only be getting 20 chi/sec as opposed to a 5 APS char getting 25. So while it would take you a full 15 seconds to regain 300 chi, a 5.0 char would only need 12 seconds. So the 5.0 would have no real loss from the time spent channeling their spark.
