I'm sorry for the noob question but I still don't quite get the Zen to Dollars ratio. I'm looking to buy a mount because i'm too dang lazy to run anymore.

For a 20G mount how much US dollars would that be and how the heck does "zen" fit into all this?

Also, I read I need to buy "spurs" to ride this mount at my low level. What is that exactly and is it in the cash shop as well?

Thank you, in advance, for any help. ;)

Gold/Silver are the currency of the Cash Shop. 1 Gold is equal to 100 Silver, and it'll automatically be exchanged should you need to pay with a fifth of a Gold or have more than 99 silver.

Zen is charged through Real World currency, usually with Paypal, Google Checkout, or Ultimate Game Cards.

Real-world money is turned into Zen through the charge system. Exchange rates usually are one dollar to equal 100 Zen, although larger purchases provide 'bonus' Zen. Zen is automatically turned into Gold/Silver when it's transfered to a character, and one Zen equals one Silver. Gold/Silver can be Auctioned for coins, and coins can be used to bid on Gold/Silver. Exchange rates on that vary, although it's currently sitting around 100k-120k coins per Gold on Sanctuary.

The typical price for a 20 Gold mount would be approximately 20 United States Dollars, possibly less if you bought more Zen at once. Both of the 20 Golds mounts have a level requirement of level 60, though.

Galewind Spurs reduce a Mount's level requirement from 60 to 20, while increasing its speed (there is a level 40-20 version for other mounts). These can be purchased from the Cash Shop, or from other players.

At level 30 you get a flying mount through a quest. Might want to wait to see if it suits you, then maybe purchase a mount if you still feel the need to b:victory

Considering how incredibly slow the flying mount is she'll still want to purchase a mount for it's speed, if not that, a faster flying mount at least. It's actually faster running with Summer Sprint than to fly with the lvl 30 mantha.

    Basically US $1.00 = 1 gold or 100 silvers

So a 20g mount would cost you $20 bucks US dollar :3

I think that's way too steep. I'm not going to pay 50 bucks for iridescence wings.
