Which mobs drop element stones the most? I need them for DQ41.

yup, well, usually no, i'm doin dq on my sin in hopes of gettin the mount and since i seem to be getting a rather steady amount of somewhat useless dq20&30 drops (40 element fragments from kill 50 frail blobs solo quests)

And to the poster, use the in-game "encycloped"ia and type in whatever it is you're after at the time, it'll list all mobs that drop it (including a lot of mobs that arent even in this version mind you) that are clickable to autoroute to it instead of copypasting coords from PWDatabase which is starting to get a little outdated anyways as much as i love it and have it bookmarked, PWI doesnt like to play nice with an open browser window for some reason.

From what I've seen, for the number of Copper and Silver Dragon Orders it takes to get a mount (either 50 & 30 or 50 & 50, depending on the mount), you'd be better off selling the Dragon Orders in the Auction House and using the coins you make from that to buy a mount from the Auction House.

If you're going for the Swift Whitewind, for example, that takes 50 Copper Dragon Orders and 30 Silver Dragon Orders.

    1 Copper Dragon order = ~50k
    1 Silver Dragon order = ~500k
    (50*50k)+(30*500k)=~17.5 mil
(based on some current Dreamweaver AH numbers)

I've seen Whitewinds for sale in the AH for much less than that.

In short, using Dragon Orders to get a mount isn't particularly cost effective.

Why actually yes...I'm doing a DQ right now...cruising the forums as I travel from place to place since it takes so long. I buy my DQ mats in my little catshop for original NPC price and I'm farming for Blood Moon Bracers...Should cost me about 6-8 mil total instead of 15-20mil...BIG SAVINGS b:dirty and if thats not enough for me I also get 65k exp + 13.4k spirit. And if I just happen to get extra or those stupid gold orders that I should only have a 10% chance of getting b:angry then I can sell those to put toward buying more mats. So all in all I get to save lots of coin get some exp/spirit and I got some leisure time to read the forums.

Indeed, but in DQ you can get the black horse WITHOUT flames at speed 11 maxed (I have it, but I didn't do the DQ for it). Personally I prefer that, but it's a matter of preferance.

If you want something economical, just get the cheapest 11 speed mount you can find... And indeed, it is worth more - much more - selling your DQ items or dragon orders than actually gambling them.
PWI will continue - in one way or the other. I'm just glad I found a balanced server now that I enjoy - naming is illegal, but PM's are welcome.

Only reason I log in still is also just to say hi to friends.

the wiki database isn't always dependable.
I did a search on the wiki for element stone. and this is where it took me.

    http://pwi-wiki.perfectworld.com/index.php?title=Special:Search&search=element+stone&ns0=1&fulltext=Search

and there is everything except what I was looking for.

and yes peeps dq because they hope for better gear.
probably better off hunting the auctioneer for the stone, which is costly and the gear which probably isn't as expensive, as DQ20 through 41

and that's why i searched in the pwdatabase.com instead of pwi-wiki.perfectworld.com
probably isnt good enough; i could probably get a scroll of tome from a pack
    btw. necro

I have wings as an elf cleric, so are you saying i can still get a mount.

hell I was in the dq for hopes of some dragon order reward late in game like some wicked wand or wicked gear.
are you saying I am wasting my time?

because I haven't found one mold in all the quests I have done for 40 Lvls outside DQ quest.

Yeah, land mounts and aerogear are two different things.

If you're DQing for the mount? Yes, you're wasting your time. For other DQ items? Maybe, maybe not. Personally, I've gotten a ton of use out of my ☆Robe of Blood Might, for example, since I have multiple characters that have used it.

However, the level 52 ☆Fine Pataka of Bodhi requires 10 Silver and 50 Copper Dragon Orders, and is only slightly better than a level 57 ☆☆☆Flowing Water Pataka, which can be gotten much more cheaply.

I guess it's up to you whether it's worth it, but just be aware of the prices of relatively similar items.

Yeah, except for the Tideborn Weapon Token quests, you generally don't get molds from quests.
