To save everyon's money now, info on the socket and orb packs

ok so the true gem is only 60 silver and the dragon's fir eis only 70 silver now. Well, even with this reduction, these packs not only not worth buying, but r fking terrible. I went ahead and took the average of how much coin u get from a pack on average usin a weighted mean (the cost of the item times the percentage chance to get it) if you go to these pages on the data base :

and you take the weighted mean of the packs, on average ull lose around 50k per pack you buy(on average), even w/ the reduction in price.

of course i no there still gonna be many people who buy the packs to try to get lucky, just givng a warning to any potential buyers.....and bc i was bored and mainecne is up atm, b:surrender needed to kill some time......
well when ur LA psy has same wep grade and refine as ur pure AA wiz, hits as high per shot, has faster dps, and has 2x the crit %, time to retire the wiz............

    um....the odds of getting that +12 are actually pretty good, about the same as getting a cube of fate stamp in a pack, how much do +12 orbs sell for?

    As much as someone is willing to pay for it, and it certainly wont be for what it's actually worth.

    Yesterday I saw people getting 2 Elemental Gems from the packs b:chuckle So whoever gets the Turquoise Gem...poor soul lol

    yea same i wana know whats the total cost of a +12 orb when +10 orb are on sale with +1 orbs so thats 75 and 0.18 gold for the +10 and +1 orbs

    Correct me if Im wrong; 1% is 1:100 chance to get something; 0.1% is 1:1,000; and 0.01% is 1:10,000; if you think the odds is good for getting a +12 orb then it certainly is when compared with the odds of winning the lottery.

    the *chances* may be ok seemings as its similar to getting a cube of fate stamp, but even thats low as hell chance, and regardless, u have to be sad to dish out thousands of pounds/dollers on a game...ever, think of the stuff u can buy irl thats actualy worth something, then we get scams like this, cos thats what it is, a scam,

    dump an army of money into the game for an insanely low chance of getting a pixel item worth nothing irl, no thanks, i dont buy it, but g/l definatly to u idiots willing to **** ur money away on these anal packs.

    Averaged out, you get less than half of your investment back from the orb packs. Really crappy odds in gambling, when you only have a 2.25% chance of gaining money from the pack basically; 92% chance to lose around 75% of your money. Bad odds. This is with orb sale 1* prices.

    < has gotten plenty of things from packs with 0.01 drop rate
