I wanted to make a lvl 41 BM primarily to farm the mats at that level. I looked in the db and see that those mats drop from lvl 37 mobs. I know that the ideal level for me would be 39, but I wanted to be able to use xeno's hammer, and a lot of armor pieces that are for lvl 40 as well as being able to go on bounty hunter etc, so the 10% reduction of drops is acceptable to me.

I need 24 DEX to meet the minimum requirements on the weapons and armor. This is where I'm not sure what is the right thing to do, and some feedback from BMs out there would be appreciated.

My idea is to reach 40 DEX at lvl 41, and pump the rest into STR for max damage. What worries me is that having low DEX is actually going to hurt my DPS from misses and lower crit chance.

I see that my 'to hit' when I target mobs is about 85%. Is this much lower than normal? Will having the more typical 80 DEX at that level make a huge difference?

    Why would you be going to BH if you wanted to keep this BM primarily to farm a low quality drop mat?

    Xeno's Sledgehammer is pretty OP for the level you can equip it. Throw a few mirages at it see if you can refine it a little... getting it to +2 or +3 will help a little. Even though lowbie refines are generally worth it, if you don't mind wasting a few dozen mirages, it really doesn't matter anyway.

    Accuracy doesn't really matter much. I would put min dex for weapon and as much str as you can afford. Sharding for the particular resistance you would need would help, but at that level wouldn't really matter much.

    I wanted to be able to pick up BH EXP to toss into genies until I get a really lucky one I wish to keep, and sell the rest as genies/exp cubes and the extra spirit until I max out my skills will be nice. Plus doing BHs is fun and you meet people.

    You say that Xeno's is Over? Powered and that refining will help. Did you mean under powered? I already have a Xeno's 2 socket +2 with attack stones already in place. This would be sufficient?

    Right now I have 25 dex, but I've been holding back points for it if it turned out I would need the dex. If I understand you correctly, I should stop here, or since I'm already over 20 should I bump up to 40 for +1 crit?

    Someone said I should go 40 since I went over 20, can't remember who told me that

    One final question, should I put HP into my armors, or Mdef? Something else?
