    Well come on, it should be obvious.

    Did you forget how many wives the guy has? After so long of putting up with the constant badgering and drama, he's gone bat **** crazy. And where that doesn't cover it, the friends he lost from them means he has to talk to whoever he can. Those are his attempts at male bonding.

    I wasn't expecting Duke to say anything when I made my TT100 fists.
    I got spammed with PMs and I was planning to just tell the guildies. b:surrender

    What bothers me is that most PMs were asking if I got these from packs.

    Most recent patch reset the list of things he shouts; don't worry we'll cut his shouts down significantly asap.

    How does it determine when to shout for baby snow hare? Do you just...hatch it and it announces? Or is it when you catch it?

    Hopefully it's not as soon as the egg shows up in your inventory. I can just imagine people passing it around just to have Duke annoy the **** out of everyone.

    I know why Duke is shouting useless things. The reason is because players see that many people win good items and then think: "Hmm, I see that many people won good items from packs, so maybe it is not so hard to get a good reward, I will buy pack and try!" Then people become addictive to packs and buy more gold in order to come out ahead.

    Of course that s my opinion. Am I right?b:victory

    Aside from Duke spam, Bidding Hall spam is pretty annoying.....


    ...especially having 4 items being auction off now.

    Between Bidding Hall, TW announcements, and Duke shouts.....its pretty bad.

    That is true. Even though the bidding hall isn't a 24 hour a day occurrence, the length of the text in itself is very disrupting. Unlike Duke shouts, bidding hall messages take up about 3-4 lines of text, and since there's about 3-4 items at a time in the bidding hall, it's a really stupid block of text many people really don't want disrupting their chat.

    I really only want to know about the wraith attacks, everything else.. not so interesting.

    With all the orange text, you tend to stop reading it...
    reading that player X has aquired Y... becomes something like monster X does Y damage. I don't really care after a certain point. You just read over it, like it's not there.

    Then there are horns, which will send out text in every color, including orange, and wich you also can't mute

    So the result is that you start to ignore all orange text, icluding anything PWI tries to tell you.
    The number of times I've thought: "If I could only switch off system chat... "

    Well, that's obvious. I didn't mean pack announcements but getting a snow wabbit... I guess those use to be rare at the start of the servers?
