This post is dedicated to all the people who insist that the game is "dead" or "dying." You complain in the forums and say "quit while you can" and stuff like that and yet you still log on to the game or forums to spread this nonsense. You don't have to jump on the quitting bandwagon, but if you do, do it gracefully and say your goodbyes and then don't look back.

Wake up call: The game is not dead or dying. There are thousands of people that log in everyday and still have fun. Yes changes have been made that do not suit everyone's wishes, but the devs saw that the game was going in a direction they didn't want it to go and they made what they saw was the necessary changes.

Not everybody plays the game for the same reasons, so for those of you who PWI no longer is entertaining feel free to move on to bigger and better things. And for those of us who still enjoy playing, let's make the most of it and continue to build our characters and communities.

    i agree with you. almost every game that i have played, theres always a group of people that said "this game is dead/dyeing." one game i played over 5 years ago, people said that then, and its STILL up and running, and populated, too.

    What you say is true for the most part. A lot of it depends on perspective.

    In my case, (and a lot of others') it's the fact that most of the people that taught us how to play the game left a year ago saying pretty much the same things we're saying now. Now we're in their shoes and see where they were coming from.

    I don't go out of my way to stop people from playing the game, as it is free to play and as you pointed out, people play for different reasons.

    Some people get into games more than others. For the overly passionate players the current state of the game is very depressing. I am sure they all find some enjoyment by logging in and playing with their friends. However many are concerned for the future of the game and many of the fun features of pwi are becoming less fun update by update. I'm sure everybody would rather be discussing TWs rather than the issues but the longer the issues stay the more unsettling they become thus creating more discussion. Anyway I doubt all of these topics will go away until they are fixed unless they threaten to ban people. But that would make the community explode.

    i didnt quit (yet) but its harder and harder to find players even for pve. shouting in wc for like half hour for a damn DD for bh, dont remind me of tank/cleric... plus tw takes 5-10min. even players that 'enjoy' the game find it harder to find squads since the others just dont log on for much now or less and less every day. sure, if you want to have fun in your own way you can do it but trying to do harder things... you need ppl, especially with the new instances changes

    I don't really care for the game anymore, pretty much the only reason I still log is because I like talking to people. It's like a fancy chatroom lmao.

    Yea I still try to make money but only because I don't like leaving stuff half assed when I set a clear goal.

    Every game has, categorically, people who can easily be classified, by action, as malcontent -- which includes the doomsday "zomg game r ded" type. They whine, complain, do little to nothing positive or constructive, and in all honesty, should be made fun of. Good thread.
