Anyway, is it possible for chinese speaking players to QQ at PW-CN forum so there is a higher chance for the Dev to know our plight?

I speak Chinese but I'm not going to do it simply because I don't think the devs could care less.

'' actual in-game outlook is quite different.''
Ah not really, beside archo, towns are already ghost towns, same as the most starting areas.
This have look much much different 1 year ago.
But let's go in present time. Almost noone beside heavy cash shopers buy verry expensive things in game, since for ordinary players are many things, now even higher lvl TT gear impossible to buy/get as long you are not willing to spend a lot of real money on it and let's be honest, it's kinda ridiculous to be forced buy armors... or any kind of things which you need for normal gamplay with a credit card in a mmorpg.
Thats why are many towns already ghost towns.

I'm sure there's a line in the Terms of Service somewhere that addresses this issue.

Terms of Service? Do you know anything about contractual law? I certainly don't but you can write a contract with someone saying "If you violate these terms I am allowed to murder your family and take your firstborn and by you agreeing to these terms gives me the right to decide when you've violated the agreement".

TOS or EULAs can say a lot of things, but just because something is in there doesn't make them binding. TOS and EULAs are subject to both regional and federal law which can override or invalidate much of it.

If you can prove they are trying to tank the game on purpose, as a paying user you may have more rights than they would lead you to believe, however the only way to find out is actually to do something about it, which 99.9% of the sane population of the planet wouldn't even consider. That doesn't mean you can't make a civil case.

I don't like changing games, I find one I like and stick with it till I beat it or until it dies. I was looking forward to playing PW for years, thinking foolishly that it might be like the last game I played. What I wouldn't give to go back in time to when I started playing and do it again... Anyways, just my 2 cents and nostalgia.

I agree with most of what you've said... and almost all of the changes they have made would be considered by most fine and just a natural progression of the game, an dI would agree.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

PWE makes money off people's addiction to PW. Same way a pimp makes money off his prostitutes who are addicted to drugs.

Love you Tekk, but seriously...isn't your BM supposed to be like...a 5 speed with 15k HP unbuffed? That's how the rumor has it.....

    Just saying.

.-. But seriously, Devs....there's something WRONG with you if you have Tekk complaining. Kylin and Zulu are two of the Servers biggest Cash Shopping factions...no ****. I wouldn't **** them off if I were you. You'll lose like....40% of your income.
....The rest of it must be coming from Calamity down in Dreamweaver, methinks.

.-. Are you one of them? ........Because I'm pretty sure that's a relatively new server...and you're already 10x.

Just throwing that out there. It's either that, or you spend a HELLUVA lot of time grinding/BHing/FCing.

It takes 1-2 weeks to level from 70-100 with hypers. There's no need to cash shop hypers to level, that's how bad they destroyed the accomplishment of leveling in this game.

There are many legitimate causes for concern amongst the members of our comunity. While i hardly believe the game to be dying, i do believe the cumulative effects of some changes have considerably impacted the gameplay and enjoyment of a large part of the user base. I had at first considered some of the people claiming to be heavy CSers nothing more than trolls using a lie to lend credence to their claims, but the numbers of such claims has certainly increased at a somewhat alarming rate. Those arguing "suck it up, the game is playable" line do seem to be out of touch with a large part of the comunity. It's insensitive to shoot down complaints merely on the argument that things are still manageable when the real issue is wether they remain fun.

At the OP and any other people with a sizable investment who may share his feelings; Please, before you quit your account, do send a letter to support or write a ticket explaining precisely what changes to the game have driven you to abandon such considerable amounts of money spent on your accounts. I'm sure well reasoned comunications from the very people from whom PWI derives a large part of their income would have much more of an effect on their policy and fruture decission making than complain threads on the forums.

@OP, before you quit, ask for a refund. Say to PWE that teir product wasn't up to customer satisfaction and you'd like a full refund.

All say the game is going to die but HL server seems as active as ever to me. WC seems to humming along as fast as before and i see peopel all over.

The only change that bothered me was the lessoning of DQ prices. The one advantage i felt i had over most other players, is i was not adverse to getting out there a grinding for several hours to make some loot and get a bit of XP. Lowereing the DQ price took that advantage away from me. Now i grind for an hour and barely make 50k. I am almost to the point now were im contemplating playing only when double drops in progress and play some other game inbetween. Oh and atttend a few TW's.

All the changes do seems to make it harder to earn in game gold to pay for expenses. Which in turn forces chash shoping or an extremely weak character compared to others who spend RL money.

It's a shame. This is the second "free" MMORPG i have played and they both the same pattern. They start out great. A few bugs but great, but slowly over time the developers modify the game to the worse.

Tekk, i easily found out exactly how much i paid for this game, by going to my purchase history. 10k and 30k is a big difference. Money is so easy for you, you dont even know about a 20k difference. must be nice.

I looked over my Zen Purchase History and i spent $650 on HL server. I have 3 characters 90+. Not terrible for 1.5 yrs of playing but im a little bit ashamed to have spent that much dollars. But i guess if you count dollars spent per hours playing games i got my moneys worth.

I will continue to play PWI, even though i wish they would have more double drops events to compensate for lessoning of DQ price.

But then x2 drop = more gold. Might as well just bring back the old DQ prices and have less x2 drop events.

For me, it's the combinations of packs/DQ/TW fckups that's killing large factions, and really making this game...a bummer. It's hard to motivate people when things are looking so down.

.-. They say they're protecting us from stuff, but it's like your mom dressing you up in pads, a helmet, shoulder guards, a mouthguard, safety goggles, and a lifejacket when you're just trying to take a ****. Too much man.

The whole "You have 4 hours in an instance"-- Got it, okay, no botting in BH/FB/FC allowed.
The nerfed DQ's-- Fine, okay, no botting the mobs. (Rarely done, even before patch.)
Duke shouts--Pissing off the old players, annoying the hell out of the new.
The TW slander-- wtf? You're blaming big factions? Hell, Kylin/Zulu are half your salary! That's like asking for a pay cut.

Too much freaking padding. You're trying to protect us from things that haven't happened yet, seriously....and the things that are happening here, you blame on the big factions and **** us all over. Try looking at your pocketbook--problem's there, we keep trying to tell you.
