Ok So I press START on the launcher (yes the start button is orange) then it gives me the game screen I login pick my char then BAM black screen (no "now entering perfect world or anything) idk what's the problem please help :(b:cry

    & it shows my characters but when I click my char it goes to a black blank screen PLEASE HELP

    I am assuming you are playing on a windows operating system so do the following please:

    1. go to start menu
    2. in the run (or search) box type the following: 
    dxdiag /t desktop/system_report.txt
    3. wait a bit for the report to generate
    4. locate the file system_report.txt on your desktop
    5. open it, make sure it has information in it
    6. go to www.pastebin.com
    7. copy the contents of that report into the giant text box
    8. submit it with "public" exposure type so we can see it
    9. post a link to your report here so we can diagnose the issue

    So I used to play pwi on my (windows vista) laptop until it had a little meltdown so now I'm on my (windows vista) desktop & it wont load the game it lets me log in & it shows my characters but when I click my char it goes to a black blank screen

    /sigh....like me these idiots from "dreamweaver" come on here acting like they know something about computers. I had an issue similar to yours and their response was to DOWNGRADE my drivers. Personally I'm starting to believe dreamweaver is some sort of idiocracy of computer bots intended to disillusion the p[ublic into believing someone on here can actually fix a technical issue. Good luck to you sir.....

    If I told you to type 'msconfig' in your run command in the start menu, would you believe I had some magical asnwer as well?

    I've seen about 20+ of these posts (same issue without resolutions) in the last month I've attempted to play this game. My advice is to understand there is no 'real' technical support for a free game and move along to something else so these guys stop making money on banner ads....

    I just noticed I need directx for the game maybe that's why it's not working

    does directx11 work for pw?

    What game version are you on?

    you should be 389.

    Also when loading your client (before you launch the game) click verify, to have your game verify itself.

    Looking at your character level you have played sucsessfuly before, could you tell me when this problem started?
