RubberBand is outta control!!!

Ok. I have experienced rubberband to the point where I have had to log out before it would go away and I have to say it's a major setback. Please PWE before you make the cash shoppers any MORE supperior, FIX THE RUBBERBAND!b:angryb:angryb:angryb

    Judging by past history I'd guess they'll fix it in ~2 weeks. Too bad they can't fix the other ****.

    Rubberbanding has become worse for me, but only when it comes to landing from flying, whether on the ground or into water. I end up snapping back a lot more than I've ever seen. Doesn't happen every time, just now and then. Still it's quite annoying.

    In all fairness to the OP Rubberbanding has gotten worse and not just when landing on an npc.

    Yep, much worse for me too. I couldn't get to my WQ npc in like 30+ jumps that I tried to do....in midair b:sweat

    Yea..before I used to get pushed back 7 times at most

    But earlier today I got pushed back around 42 times consecutively and i was just walking around normally lol..

    i was stuck for 5minutes straight today trying to get outta the rubberbanding it was so annoying, y do the devs keep trying to fix things that around broken while leaving things that are broken broken? b:cold

    I was rubberbanding from landing in the water and watching it for about 10 minutes until I decided to unequip my aerogear and re-equip it to fix the bug.

    I used the bug to my benefit and defeated a world boss without even using my pet. Ok, just kidding. The glitch sux, but use fly, unfly.

    PWI = free to play = developers work for free???

    That will explain a lot of things...

    90% of all the bugs in this game (some has been there since the release) can be fixed in 1-2 hours if they just wanted to do that...

    The rubber band bug is a lot worse now than it was before.

    Same story as everyone else here.

    This problem is much worse than ever. In the last 2-3 days, I've had half a dozen situations (and I'm not even playing that much) where I was glitched for a minute or more. To all the people saying, "fly," yeah, I did that. In the end, that is what got me out of it and prevented me from having to log out, but it still took a minute of fly / unfly before it took effect.

    I don't know if something in the game changed or if the servers got laggier or what, but it's definitely not just me being more frustrated with the same old problem. It's worse.

    When I started playing this game, the problem didn't even exist. I don't mean it wasn't as bad. I mean it didn't happen at all, ever. I still don't understand why we need to tolerate this in the name of some kind of server lag resynching **** prevention whatever the excuse is. It didn't happen before. Then they put it in to (does this sound familiar?) fix a problem that didn't exist, and now we just accept it.

    And again i thought only i have that issue. XD

    Yesterday i leveled my Pet doing a one man army quest for Sori Gnawers. I use to kill them on a mountain. Even on the relatively flat mountain top it kept beaming me back. Even my Pet was effected and it usally isnt affected by this at all, or i never noticed.

    Even the mobs got stuck and rubberbanded! (I should have made a Vid that looked realy funny XD)
    I thought i have realy bad lag but it said my connection is good.

    A few days ago i had no rubberbanding at the same place at all.

    I tend to rubberband only when Im falling down a slope from a very high elevation.

    Back in version 64, pwi had little or no rubberband. What happened to pwi? now i'm banding just from everyday activities sometimes even when i don't jump at all. did they make movement server sided? they should return it to being client sided, i know there's something called wallhacks and they want to be able to stop them but it's causing anguish to the everyday player. please pwi, fix this issue, as i am not the only one complaining

    Please use the mouse to click on something in the game world to navigate around the issue carefully, or fly in a different direction.

    Also try holding the W, A, S, or D keys down and jumping until you get unstuck.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    yeah until it happens to you when ur on your mount and u cant get off it or enter fly mode...
    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

    Completely agree, I havn't been able to play for almost a month, can't get anywhere at all (tried for 3hrs once about 3 weeks ago) from the rubberbanding... tech support has no solutions.

    Be nice to play the game I've paid for...
