+30%HP Buff/TF lev3 - is it really +30%HP ? O__o

Hi there...ive never bothered myself to make the calculation over the bonus HP we get with MAXED Beast King Inspiration and/or True Form until yesterday cuz i got lev87 Necklace with +5%HP and i was hoping to get past the 13k HP mark but...b:question


i have 8224 HP in human form UNBUFFED


when i use Beast King's Inspiration in human form i get from 8224 to 10573
when i go into True Form from human UNBUFFED i get from 8224 to 10573


so these 2 bonus HP are equal for both the skill and that's right (how its supposed to be)...




the problem is that the +%HP bonus is not 30% but a litlle less...

if i have 8224, then with a +30% bonus (TF or BKI) i should get to 10691.2 (cuz 30% of 8224 is 2467.2)

but as i wrote before i go from 8224 to 10573 and that like a +28.56%HP

fellow barb friends, try to check the real % you get from this "+30%" and tell us if its just me that is having this problem...I NEED TO KNOW b:shocked

    I think that the 5% necklace screws up the calculation a bit. I think it doesn't factor in the HP you get from that when adding the 30%

    I just calculated it on my Barb and there was an error.

    I took off everything and tried it.

    Unbuffed
    Human - 3961
    Tiger - 5149

    Buffed
    Human - 5149 - Correct
    Tiger - 6338 - Wrong

    Calculations
    Human - 3961 * 30% = 1188.3 (3961 + 1188.3 = 5149.3) so buffed is correct
    Tiger - 5149 * 30% = 1544.7 (5149 + 1544.7 = 6693.7) so buffed is wrong

    There seems to be a problem with tiger form as the numbers don't add up and my hp should be higher than what it is.

    Hp buffs don't stack percentages. If you have 10k hp base, 5% neck will add 5% of 10k, buff will add 30% of 10k and tiger will add 30% of 10k. It SHOULD get you to 16.5k buffed, that would be correct. In fact, thats about what I have lol, just a bit more due to demon BKI.

    True, but there is still a problem with tiger form not giving the correct hp.

    I did it on a control setting, by taking EVERYTHING off, (weap, armor, robe, rings, necklace...) which would leave you with your base stat.

    Then when you try it, you will see that there is an error.

    Your HP is right, your formula is wrong.
    In tiger + buff for base hp of 3961 = base(3961) + 30% of base(1188.3) + 30% of base(1188.3) = 6337.6 OR 6338

    All hp % buffs are calculated off of base hp, not modified hp

    yeah...i might have took the base HP including the 5%Neck...b:embarrass


    im gonna look at my base HP without +%HP equipment, then the calculation shouldn't miss b:victory
