Yay for pwdb being updated again. So each piece of rank IX requires a certain amount of Medals of Glory and Summer Tokens. Medals of Glory are rewarded randomly to land holding facitons once per week. Summer Tokens must be forged with 9,999 mysterious chips each (which likely have to be made from tokens at 10 to 9 exchange). Here is the cost of each piece including approximate coin cost of just the Summer Tokens.

    I truly hope that they are introducing new content that makes mysterious chips easier to get other than purchasing tokens to get them, or it is that much more ridiculous than warsoul is.

    You realize Ast included the total time to get the medals to get a full set in their post, right? That is if they get every single one introduced into TW, and is at the 4 month mark minimum.

    No no no. It'll be a pack. With a 0.000015% chance to get [X] amount of Summer Tokens. And maybe Medals. Because people will complain that the medals are too hard to get once the tokens become readily available.

    That's 20 a day max, that isn't really a viable solution in any way or form considering the number needed. Before packs, a few of us were able to chip some of the high end golds from doing cube, but we weren't rolling in stacks of 10K chips from cube.

    just to mention.. chips can be aquired in cube of fate too as far as i know :s

    Assuming gold price is 400k (close enough to that on HT server), that's only $50,000 needed to get all the tokens/chips =P

    (... and that's assuming u can get all the badges for free)

    Would be much worse than that, if you were to try and buy that many tokens, you would affect the supply so heavily that tokens would go up a huge amount in price. You would also affect the supply of gold heavily so it would also drop. Could a single server even get close to handling that kind of volume?

    In the end if you were to do that kind of amount using tokens you would have to take somewhere fairly close to 15 tokens per gold. ($20k for the ring and $50k for the weapon alone >.<)

    I'm with a previous poster here. They will almost certainly put them in some form of packs in the future. Though they may also have them as a potential event reward too.

    ****... i thought it was like all the other rank... when you get the ring... you can buy the rest very cheap... but having each gear requiring mats... well, damm... that will be too costly.

    I do not know...but IF you did not have to get the Ring first, more then a few pieces would easily be obtained. (Sry...not a fan of the ring but its not horrible).

    if the cost for summer swords got down to 999 chips instead of 9999. then this would still be expensive, but atleast somethign possible. as it is now its just radicolous, i dont think even goonz would bother with this.

    take forever get enough glory badges and rep cost too. dont see why need such an radicolous high chip price.

    They create powerful stuffs like warsoul which you can only get for a ridiculous amount of dollars, just for the lulz, just in case some idiot would buy it.

    I made my excel spreadsheet about the cost for warsoul, gotta need to find it again but it's somewhere around that. So it is still cheaper than R9, for now r8 still does some heavy damages b:victory

    By the time some1 has a full r9 set, I probably quit already so b:cry
