Well I'm kind of interested in what you guys think now. It's been a while since you replied.
Do you think the mirage system is working?
Do you think the drop in gold price is all down to TW?
Do you think the TW pay is substantial?
Do you think that TW is as fun for the players as before?
Are we going to have another pay system soon?
Are you thinking of alternative/old bidding system?

1. Of course, it's working as intended.
2. Yes, that's what we believe.
3. Yes, we believe that it is substantial unless people are overspending on TWs.
4. I don't quite understand why the fun factor would be any less now.
5. Unlikely, since the current system is working wonderfully.
6. Not really, but we are thinking of adding a minimum bidd starting at 20,000,000/50,000,000/100,000,000 for different level territories.
Or something.

Why yes it is. Players are happy looking at their reflection on the pretty mirages, which have an illusion cast on them that will make any ugly cow look like a super model. No other goods come from this rewards, as it would be way too much.

Yes of course. TW means The Wallets right? Yep. We got it right.
Do you think the TW pay is substantial?
We do indeed. The Wallets pay us a lot of money for doing nothing! Its perfect! Personally I just bought myself a new PC to read the forums and laugh at players QQ at home after daily work at PWE.

No. Its even more fun now! They just use The Wallets more and more! Soon I'll be able to buy myself a new car!

No. Thinking gets me stressful, and then I can't do my job and laugh at QQ properly. Sorry b:surrender ... but speaking of thinking... I just got a great idea!!! We'll make it rain PACKS! everywhere! And then for each pack a player picks up, the player will receive a mail charging it $10. That way we don't even have to put them up the cash shop!

I don't see how the TW payouts made a huge difference. Split out among all the members per week. Are they so blind as to notice that maybe, just maybe, the Perfect Tokens of BEST Lucks 10million Big Note might be the cause? Kephras stated it. QQ[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

2. It's one reason, but not the only reason.
3. Not substantial, but keep in mind that the Medal of Glory is tradeable and should fetch a good price. Also, TW Bid amounts are much lower across the board, which is helping keep guild costs down.
4. Judging by the majority of the players who've commented in the TW discussion sticky, definitely not.
5. It wouldn't happen soon, but a change is certainly possible. When drastic changes are implemented in a game, there are often secondary tweaks, so we'll see.
6. Too soon to come to a definite conclusion on the new bidding system. We won't start thinking about a changing the system up until this happens.0 -

1. I seem to recall you saying you need like 2 weeks...which has passed. Maybe my memory is fuzzy from too many different posts. I actually think if you wait too long, even if the results turn out to be unfavorable and you decide to tweak it, it would be too late to keep the players you have lost.
2. I'd have to disagree with you there, but I think if you've been reading my non-spammy posts you'd already know why I do, so I don't need to elaborate here.
3. The Medal of Glory is not a good reward, to be honest. It is ONE item, and although it is sell-able, it is still very hard to divide among the 80-160 people a guild has to provide for. It is unreliable also, since the divvying of the coins would depend on how much it could be sold for, which is not a constant.

5. I would like to see a new pay system that is more rewarding, even if not in coin, but easily divisible among the guild members. As I pointed out earlier, an uber badge is not a reliable reward, and since it is given to the owner of a random land, I imagine a very colorful map might find that unfair. I mean, since that badge would be the primary reward, and say the map is divided among....6 guilds? Only one guild would reap those benefits while the other 5 only get mirages.
6. The general decline you see in bidding prices is due to the fact that it's not refunded. If you bid 500K and some of it gets refunded, you still lost less money than if you bid 200K in a non-refundable system. I know that is not a direct reply to your #6, but it is a reply to one of your posts in another thread.0 -
