Just learn the ones you like. You are not limited to only one. Personally I think its better to learn all of them even if you keep it at level one because you will the manufacturing level to craft TT and Legendary weapons/armor/ornaments later on.0
-
So with Crafting i can make all the Stuff i need later?0
-
Level all of them. And as you increase in level, the required manufactiring skill to craft potions/weapons/armor increases as well.
And yes to your obvious question.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Ashura Tyrant you foul mouthed little boy! I must keel yew nao =30 -
So, im back again. Just a few Questions :
What are TT / Legendary Weapons and Armors? I guess special Armors i cant buy from a NPC, or if i buy them they are ****, and with a little Crafting Luck i can get good Versions of those Items? I also read in the Archer Guide i should upgrade my Weapons with Garnets, and my Armor with Citrines...Whats that? Sry, those are probably pretty dumb Questions, but im still learning b:shutup0 -
Garnets and Citrines are shards. Look for them in merchants. Garnets gives + p. attack and citrine gives +hp.
Legendary Weapons are crafted from molds that are mostly dropped by bosses. There are other ways of obtaining them, but I won't go through it all. Legendary items are often alot better on stats than other equipment such as 1*, 2* and even 3* of the level, and sometimes are better than 3* items 10 - 20 levels above.
TT items are like legendary items but they are not crafted from molds and regular materials, but are instead crafted from Twilight Temple material drops from the bosses in TT. They are again, much better than 1*, 2* and 3* items of similar/higher level.
TT crossbows are available at level 60, 70, 80, 90, 99 and 100.
TT bows are available at level 70, 80, 90 and 99.
TT slings are not very good and are not worth mentioning or getting.
TT armour comes at level 70, 80, 90 and 99. For archers, it is recommended you go with legendary armour until TT90, although you may wish to use TT 70/80 if you wish.
Hope I helped, sorry about the wall of text.0 -
You call it Wall of Text, i call it usefull Post. Its better to explain it in one Big Post, than in 20 small Posts.
So basicly that means, i should raise my Blacksmith and the other Manus, to get my good Stuff at Level 60+?
Atm im using a selfcraftet Bow, because its slightly better than the normal NPC Bow...When do i get "Special" Items? In some of my older Games ( Its hard to explain something if youre not allowed to say the Games Name -_- ) there where Special Items all 15 Levels, which are much better than the normal Stuff. Im still low Level, just reached Level 18, and running arround with Quest Stuff or Selfcrafted Items. Even though im probably bother you, could you explain me something about the Upgrade Items? Is it even necessary to think about that at the Moment? In some Games i needed "Special" Stuff as fast as possible, in another Game i couldnt care less about it until Level 100+.0 -
For an Archer, I would just concentrate on my bow until you start to PvP. Now with Jone's Blessing even weapon doesn't matter so much.
I don't quite get what you're asking but here's a useful site if you don't already know it.
www.pwdatabase.com
The yellow items are mostly legendary items. Green is TT. Red items are the best but don't bother because they are way out of price range. White is normal NPC items without add-ons. Blue items are NPC items with add-ons. Purple is 3* NPC items that are crafted or dropped by bosses.
The only weapons NPCs sell are the white ones. Others have to be crafted.
I recommend the following weapons
1-20 Quest Award Bows
20 - 32 Trial Crossbow (from FB19)
32 - 44 Lightning bow, preferably 2* or 1* with decent stats [e.g + attack]
44 - 60 Sinister Shooter
60-69 TT60 Swiftwind Crossbow
69+ Wind and Clouds
After Wind and Clouds you should know what weapons to get. All my recommendations are based on stats and not price, they are not that expensive as I was able to acquire them. As long as you farm some materials every now and then you should be able to afford them.
Anyhow, I'm off to bed, if you have more unanswered questions by the morning I shall try to answer them.
Edit - about the 'special stuff', I recommend a legendary weapon at level 44, the Sinister Shooter. It will last until level 60 easily. It is around 400k on my server at least. But as I said, don't worry about your armour, concentrate on your weapon. Your goal as an archer is to kill the monster before it gets to you, not to tank it.

Ah...now thats what i call usefull. Thanks. Since its 1:35 AM here, i think i will take a Nap as well, and return tomorrow with new Questions.
( Btw, ill focus on PvE, i dont realy care about PvP )
Edit :
Last Question for today :
You said, with collecten Materials i can afford those Items. Does that mean i should sell the Materials, or do you mean i should craft the Items myselfe? ( I dont realy know what i can craft and what not, since the NPC shows me only 3 Items )0 -
Collect materials and sell them to players. You may see the catshops around the blacksmith in Archosaur West District by the Auctioneer, they sell materials to fellow players. If you are able to leave your computer and the game client running overnight, I suggest you farm some materials during the day, and sell them overnight.
You can undercut your competition to make your sales quicker. 5-10% undercut is what I recommend, but no more. Also, if you have the time, do not sell them to catshops, they tend to buy at a much lower price than you can sell at.
If you cannot leave your computer on overnight, you can always try auctioning off materials in bundles of 10. But bear in mind there is a 500 coin fee and 5% commission which will lower your profits.0 -
Thanks I hope you dont mind a PM, since i think this is getting to Off Topic...I got a few Questions about the Weapon itsselfe, i hope you can answere me them.0

I didn't receive any PMs b:surrender Just post it here.0

Okay^^ I tryd
Call it Stupid, but for me Style is also very important. I like Bow much more than Xbows, and much much more than Slingshot, especialty because off how BoA looks with a Bow. It just feels more like a Archer, you know what i mean? Is it possible to use Bows or Xbows ( They arent as cool as Bows though, but still okay. Even though BoA doesnt look good with it..)without having a big Disadvantage?Because Slingshots...I realy dont like em, they are ugly as hell. I know its kinda dumb, but how my Character looks is just very important to me...You could consider this as Hardcore Roleplaying i guess. I want my Character using those Weapons, i would take as well. But since you listed 2 Slingshots for the higher Levels, and only 1 Bow im afraid my Hopes are destroyed...0 -
Err sure, there are replacements but they can be harder to get, not as effective [less DPS] or alot more expensive.
The Sinister Shooter can be replaced with any 3* bow/crossbow on that level range. But it's not ideal as the Sinister Shooter has much higher DPS than other options.
Wind and Clouds are be replaced by Unicorn [TT70 Green] or a TT70 crossbow. However, W&C out DPS both of these options easily. While the Unicorn might be alot cheaper, I still would recommend Wind and Clouds and it has -0.1 interval, +dex and +attack add-ons.
I personally hate crossbows for their looks. I've never touched one apart from the Trial Crossbow and TT60 for a brief time.0 -
I dont like Xbows either, they are just not as bad as Slingshots. I like Bows the most. I will use Trial Crossbow until Level 33, and on Level 44...Well, i will see. Is there a huge Diffrence, or just a slight Diffrence? I know Slings are more effective in PvE, but if im still good in PvE, i would take a Bow.0
-
The Sinister Shooter will have a huge difference in stats to the competitors.
Sinister Shooter [lvl42]:
Physical attack 395-593
Physical Attack +46
Interval Between Hits -0.05 seconds
Dexterity +6~7
http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/8301
3* Crossbow [lvl45]
Physical attack 300-700
And various add-ons
http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/4629
Realistically, a 3* weapon in the lower level ranges are quite rare, and therefore hard to obtain.
Bow Of Godess [lvl45 Quest Reward]
Physical attack 305-565
Maximum Physical Attack +38
MP +110
http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/12507
Bow of Godess could be quite a good replacement for the Sinister Shooter as it's a quest reward.
I guess the difference in the lower levels are not that noticeable but I would still take a Sinister Shooter over any 3* bow or crossbow of that sort of levels.0 -
Thanks so much. I think i will go with the Quest Bow
Even though it wont be as powerfull, it will be fine..i guess.0
