1% less crit
50% more accuracy
5 more def level b:shocked

doesn't seem to be worth it...

and no -int like people said >.>

    You forgot 85 more physical and magical attack, and 180 less HP. The only bit that doesn't make sense to me is the lower crit %.

    The other equips make up for the loss HOWEVER...insane pricing to get and farm it...the Rep is the easy part.

    The chips needed and the badges for EACH piece after 1st getting the ring (required) is imo just....*sigh*

    Yes gave melee 50% acc but nothing extra for caster. PWI should have given us no chance to interrupt on it b:surrender

    The equips are pretty good...especially if the rumored set bonuses are true :x

    Yes they look amazing...however here is the overall picture IF they keep the same requirements originally stated:

    32 swords @ 9999k chips for EACH sword = 32k chips
    3 TW badges


    ^ JUST for the ring which you MUST get first before any of the other items (approx 3bill in-game coins)

    Now...once you get the Ring, you must now get MORE swords @ 9999k chips PER PIECE, in addition to MORE TW badges.


    Now...depending on the requirements...virtually impossible if the above is true. And tbh VERY disappointing. b:sad

    TBH...all I would want to work for is the weapon, since the ring is meh. The weapon and the armor w/ armor bonuses are amazing, but how difficult they will be to get...Even more so with the TW badges being random each week. If will be a LONG time before we see a Rank 9...b:surrender

    32 summer swords * 9999 chips = 320k chips

    9 tokens for 10 chips = 288k token

    If 1 token is at 10.5k = 3.02bil

    and IF you're the very UNLUCKY man in the world, get nothing from the packs

    $1 = 15 token, 288k token is $19,200

    TBH - 3nill is NOT unfarmable...but with heavy farming at least about 25 weeks unless you get VERY lucky -.-

    tbh.. the ring looks mighty nice to me b:dirty

    so the TW badges... only 1 goes to a random *winning* faction each week? Those are certainly going to be rare sets - let alone the badge itself - for a very very long time.

    Another thing to consider is:

    Ring requires 3 Medals, 6 other pieces say they require 3 medals ea (they didn't say how many): 21 medals total

    1 year has 52 weeks, there are only 2 full sets of rank 9 and 3 pieces in a year. So we won't see a full r9 set anytime soon.

    Probably people just go for the ring and the weapon.

    Yes, very, very much so...and cheaper b:chuckle

    The quote above is JUST for the ring which you MUST attain first before you can start on the weapon and armor. And who knows how many chips and badges you need for both.

    Disappointed...but atm talking to my farming party and we are thinking of maybe trying it. Who knows, worth a shot anyways as there is nothing else atm to reach for...And yes, I am crazy b:surrenderb:cute

    Rank equip alway's favoured casters.

    But even with +50% acc, I wouldn't get it, a lunar ring for 50m ish seem's more worth it to me, considering what I'd get.

    +5 def alone is nothing and the reduction would be virtually unnoticed.

    Now, IF you got the set bonuses then yes, it would make a big difference. But standing alone, the +5 Def lvl is (IMO) worthless.

    It just seems that the weapon and the set bonuses is what makes the Rank amazing. Not the stand alone Ring...which sadly you must get first. Had it been weapon first, there would be NO question in trying for the 320k chips.

    Def lvl is hardly useless. Heard of Jones Blessings?

    Then again, as I said, dont cry bout the lost 1%crit and hp for acc and def lvl. For once rank favor the melee class, but still not worth getting for the amount spent vs gain.

    I was just saying that the +5 def is minimal if not stacked. I can get more def with the Daily blessings and even the ones from the wedding. Both of which I use in TW since in my roll I do not need the +30 attack.

    Uhh......anyone else not getting anything to pop up when you type in "Rank IX" in the encyclopedia gear section? If I'm not alone then I think PWE should change what they said,

    "For full information and stats for each piece of the set, please refer to the PWI Encyclopedia feature in-game. Simply enter "Rank IX" into the search box, and you should be able to find it no problem!" in their news section.

    Only stuff that I can find that are Rank 9 is when I type in the name of the items and only ones I know the name of are Assassin stuff since the picture they included states the names of Sin rank9 stuff.

    Wasnt the decrease of TW pay meant to encourage all players to do TW and not just those who are in big TW factions? The medals will be given to big TW factions who wont sell them. Not as if some1 can get r9 very soon but the weapon is doable and players from big TW factions will use it.
