I wonder how can someone afford a lv10 refinement

I wonder how someone can afford to refine that high to begin with.

Although selling gold for coin makes this possible, you'd be selling a LOT of gold(and burning lots of rl money).

Only to reach a lv10 refinement in one thing its needed 2970 lv1 dragon orbs that worth 801,9 gold. Actually, a lot of people do this:
1-3: Mirages only
3-5: Tishas
5-7: Tienkangs
7-10: Ocean Orbs
10-12: Regular Orbs

If you were to go 1-7 with Orbs, you'd be looking at 445 Dragon Orbs. During a Sale, that'd be 80.1 Gold, which really isn't much. Or if they bought the Orbs, that'd be 37,825,000 at 85,000 each. The Ocean Orb costs 75 Gold, so for +10, you'd be looking at 80.1 + 225 = 305.1 Gold. Oh, and if you were to buy that gold at, say, 375,000 each, that'd be 114,375,000 coins. And no, considering that there are people who have billions of coins, 115,000,000 really isn't much.

And believe me, there are people who have spent over 10,000$ on the game already.

But yeah, mostly, the people with all +10s are major cash shoppers looking at 10,000$ or more spent in the game.

10k could buy you 5 pretty decent used cars right now. You could probably get 10 that would be fine for commuting, but but might not look pretty. You could get 20 that have tags and that run. lol

Don't forget that +10 orbs go on sale every so often, costing 75 gold each.

This makes the price of +10ing something drop dramatically.

Unrealistic? We have an archer on my server who has a Warsoul Bow. That's $20k USD.

How do they afford it? it's called MAJOR cash shopping, i heard of people who put $500 USD or more on this game on a monthly basis, more when there are packs sales (thus the fact that packs never leave the boutique now)

If i had the 20k that a warsoul is worth i wouldn't blow them on a game, that's for sure, and yes 10k USD buy you a few nice used cars, not many but definitely 3, they also buy you:

10,000 cups of coffee or
10,000 items of your choice on any 1 dollar store or
5,000 cheap beers or
2,000 hot dogs

Options are unlimited

+10 a weapon should be reasonable for endgame.

I have friends who've +10 their weapons with just tishas. With ocean orbs that work should be made easier.

However, those people with full +10 gear and several +12 weps need to go to gamers rehab.

For the people who have been here almost 2 years, it isn't too bad really. They should have most if not all end game gear (currently before next update), and able to farm end game instance daily for coins. Earning around 3-6 million coins per run right now if no golds drop, up to 20 mil if an ADS does. Even just doing around 5 a week nets a hefty amount of money to buy orbs with when sales hit. Had 300 gold saved to get 4 ocean orbs to +10 my weapon and pants, but sunk that into getting end game cape after a few weeks of no ocean sale. Building back up again, and eventually will upgrade to doing 3-2/3-3 runs hopefully in time for next X2 event.

It's mostly about constantly upgrading gears/refines/sharding to constantly increase your daily income. Can merchant in between when saving up for something, but I don't like going full merchant as I actually like to play my character. Just have to find the right medium of playstyle for you, that let's you build up your revenue. But if you're not going to zhen, you're going to need to spend a couple years like the rest of us slowly building your fortune up to get started.

You've got the Tishas/Tienkangs backwards (ie. Tienkangs first, then Tisha), but yeah, this is the basic recipe.

If you're patient enough to use Tishas for the +8 as well you can also save another ~11 million or so, which brings the total cost of a +10 refine to about 91 million. So judging by their shop inventories, most of the top merchants on my server could probably afford to +10 all their gear.

im sorry but mmo'ers fail..now if this was a fps shooter and your team being sponsored and perhaps paid to buy all this junk..hell yeah..but no this is just one huge money pit and one lowsey investmentb:byeb:laugh

It used to be pretty easy to make obscene amounts of money.

At one point I was making:

70m per week from Nein event (I squaded an alt b:shutup)
20m per week from selling City of Abomination rings + badges
30m per week from farming 3-3 / Nirvana / WBs
40m per week from merchanting

Nowadays I make maybe maybe half that? I dunno...

Yea, it does take time, but merching and nien event help me as a non-cashshopper alot.

Full TT99 set, and all my gear except rings are +5 without the use of orbs. Added another socket to my GXs and sharded another Garnet Gem.

Only thing I hate about merching.....it takes time to make money.....and I'm impatient....b:angry
