How do I turn off the game music?

The music is like sad and depressing half the time and I wanted to play something in another window...is that possible? How do I turn it off firsttt.

    Click on the 2 cog-wheels down at the bottom right corner, then click the computer screen/monitor, a window will pop-up showing you all the settings. Move the music slider down to 0 and you also might want to move effects down a tad as walking gets annoying.
