I'm gonna start playing PWI.
I don't know which server to choose (PvE for sure)...
Is RT quite fresh?
What's the economy/political situation?

    RT is alright dude. theres alot more people now and its not too hard to find a squad for something. the FC requirement heer is only 80+ whereas on other servers they wouldnt ever take an 80 to FC which is why my LC archer is stuck at 80 QQ... but yeah, come troll with us in RT! lol

    Here goes :)


    1.) Hello! :)

    2.) Then welcome to PWI!

    3.) It depends on your personality or type of playing really.
    PvE is the easiest to level in,
    however PvP is more exciting in my opinion of course.

    4.) Besides Archosaur, which is the latest server...
    Yes, Raging Tide is fairly fresh compared to the old servers.
    Raging Tide was released in December of 2009.

    5.) The economy here isn't very stable at the moment.
    However most of that is due to the new Territory War payment.
    Most of the time, it is quite stable and I find it pretty good.

    Political as in Territory War?
    Compared to other servers,
    our map has plenty of color and is not taken over by a red faction.
    (Though Poseidon is now red)

    Those are my answers to your questions.

    I don't know about starting... but PvP Servers are the best servers to end with. When there's no more content... just RPK.

    PK servers doesn't suit everyone, for example people like me who go afk a lot.

    I'm essentially going to agree with the majority on this one. RT is not anywhere near the best place to start. Honestly I'm not even sure you should start period. But if you do decide to, you should probably avoid RT. The economy sucks, and drama runs rampant. I'm not going into that right now. Why do I still play then? I'm still trying to figure that out.

    Hi. Welcome to PWI forums. If you start playing, welcome to PWI.

    I suggest Heaven's Tear if you like PvE. There is enough players already on HT that the problems experienced on RT don't reach the instability that they have done here.
    RT is very unstable, crashing ecomony, and rather crazy community. Beginner and mid-level play has declined a bit, but not by too much. I visited the starting village for the Tideborn classes and the Winged Elf classes and there was...no one there, where there used to be 20+ people standing around. Gold during a pack sale is usually at 400-500k+ on RT. Now, it's been undergoing a steady decline even with a sale out right now. Pack sale -> gold prices go up and fluctuate a bit, not go down and down and not stop going down. There is a noticeable decline in how much people buy from others; less people buying, more people selling. Many end-game level players see very little point in playing anymore with the last patch. 80% of my own friend's list of those lv.90+ have quit.

    RT is fresh, time-wise. 2nd newest server. Everything else-wise, not so fresh. If you do start playing on RT, I suggest you wait a month or two for everything to start stabilizing again. If you have the patience, you should wait a month of two for before playing on ANY server to give the player base time to calm down, economies to settle, and enough time for dev's to to balance any issues that may come up due to the last drastic updates.
