What else is nerfed?

After quite a while, I did a one-man-army quest again. The last one was about 25 levels ago I think. This one was for brigand assassins (or so) on nightscream island. What surprised me already when I took the quest was that I had to kill only 40. I remember from other OMAs that it's usually 60 mobs to kill, and the number should get higher on higher levels. Also surprising was that I got a whole of 2 (yes two!) rep for it. Has it always been like this?

Another surprise was the drop rate. I killed my 40 brigands and was rewarded with 1 (yes one) seele token, and some small coin of course. I killed some other mobs too in the process, grinded a bit more and went out with 1 azureworm silk, 2 oblivion soups, and a few condensed health potions. Well, I covered the repair cost and had some money left, but it was nowhere near what I grinded before. Anyone else have experienced this? Or am I getting paranoid?

    Yup its true, I suspect drop rates are down as well as DQ price.
    Doesnt rly effect me though, a little effort = 100k or so.

    Drop rates on mobs change based off of which element is currently on top in the element cycle. One of the tips Duke Blacke gives occasionally will let you know which element is favored. If you grind the opposing element, you have less drops. Others are normal. Which is why you will sometimes get really good runs and bad runs.

    And our coin gain rate is actually greater after the DQ nerf, with the Attack charm 30% bonus. DQ was only a portion of over-all coin gained, where ATTK lvl boost amps all revenue streams from faster killing.

    drop rate decrease drasticly if killed mob has green color or 3 levels under or 1+ levels higher! you heard it right if mob has X levels higher drop rate decreasing as nuts as well so don't expect for drops from lvl 89 while just being 83 b:sin

    I was killing mobs my level and 1 level higher, so this can't be the reason. Also, I am more concerned about the lousy 2 rep I got from a OMA quest. If I recall this correctly, it used to be 4 or even 6, but I'm not sure... If they reduced the rep you get for quests, then it will be even harder to get rank gear (as if it weren't already hard enough). As I said, I may be paranoid already with the last changes that are clearly aimed at more cash-shopping.

    As for Duke, I don't listen to him anymore since he announces the tokens... Anyway thanks for the info on the element cycle, didn't know that.

    I have seen announcements about elements, but I have never understood which element is being favored.

    For example: "Today in the cycle of elements, fire will enhance wood, so you'd better watch out for wood element monsters."

    Does this mean I need to kill fire monsters or wood monsters? Or does it mean odds are decreased for wood monsters? Or does it mean I need to be using fire attacks for increased drops? Or does it mean I should avoid using fire attacks on wood monsters?

    they did not change the amount of rep you get it allways sucked its only worth doing that if you are allready going to grind the mobs or have a quest for themb:surrender

    i wish they would change that tho so the lower lvl players have a better chance to get rep its alot harder finding fb's then it used 2 beb:cry

    If you're worried about rewards do Crusade Orders / Wanteds. Combine them with One Man Army and Justice Orders if you can. That's what we always used to do.

    On around lv 3x if not wrong (after you start getting quest from old mans on heaven tear), you can get OMA quest from female npc at heaven tear.
    Pick the spider one, if not wrong you have to kill 20 or 30 of it .
    When you report you will notice it giving you some spirit and 3 rep (yes 3 rep)
    It was a glitched quest that never fixed but kinda nice . . though pretty boring to farm rep from that quest.

    OMA has always given two rep at that level and it's always been ~60.

    If I remember correct, brigand assassins have god awful drops but the Brigand-something-elses give good drops. I remember doing OMA's there and I switched the mob I was killing because of the drop rates.
