Personally pick a server you get low ping with that has "normal - high" population

First, do you want to do PvP (Player Versus Player) or PvE (Player Versus Environment)?

Lost City and Harshlands are the two PvP Servers. From levels 1-29, your name is blue and other players cannot attack you. At level 30, your name turns white, and anyone else level 30 and above can attack you - and you can attack them. Attacking/Killing Players - or PKing - gradually turns your name from pink to red to deep red. The darker red you go, the more Infamous you are and the more you risk dropping equipment & inventory items.

(For full details on what, when, and how much you can drop when you die, go here: http://pwi.perfectworld.com/guide/pvp)

Heaven's Tear, Sactuary, and Dreamweaver are the three PvE Servers. You start off with a blue name, and you can stay a blue name forever if you want. You can also choose to turn to a white name at level 30 (or anywhere after that), to join in the PvP. You can also turn BACK to blue and turn off PvP, but there's a time limit that you have to wait between changes.

If you are interested in lively PvP as soon as possible, try Lost City (an older, larger, laggier server) or Harshlands (the new, populated, uncrowded but active server.) If you dont want to PvP ever ever ever, or want to wait until you hit level 90 and then try it, go to one of the other three. Of those, Dreamweaver is the newest.

I recommend Harshlands or Dreamweaver, since they are new, populated, but without lag. I play Harshlands, and there are plenty of people to play with here. Plus, the territory map has two main powers and about 5 smalltime players on it - making it anyone's game to rule parts of the map still. I understand Lost City's map belongs almost entirely to one guild, so change is rare there.

yes as said before depends if you want to pvp

but if you decide to go pve dont come to heavens tear theres alot of lag and its the most populated server(atleast from pve not to sure of the whole game)
its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
just try to be a good person

english isn't my native language so there might be a few spelling/grammatical errors in my posts
