****role play #2****

OOC : I also write kinda fanfiction.I've read this roman and I got completely stunned. I was pretty disappointed when I reached the end of the book so I decided to keep on writing with my own chars. So far I have around 30 A4 format pages and they are about to rise - a lot of action to come b:victory

Grim was absolutely suspicious now. Joseph was talking too calm to the sorc. Something was wrong here, also the sorc was alone.
-"Where are the princesses?!"-Grim got tingling. His breathing was now terribly quick, but all that he could do was to wait until he got his hands on the princesses. Grim stood up and headed to Joseph and Rah.
-"Are we going, it's not safe around"-he was bluffing, it was important for him to get there as soon as possible. But this was yet to come ...

Andran stood by, watching the thing move. Odd. It seems like it wants to go somewhere, but doesn't know where... Maybe whoever is controlling it is unable to do so right now. Testing his theory, he moved closer to it very slowly. Careful not to make any sudden movements, he steadily got closer to it. He was able to get right up close to it without it so much as look at him. Up close, he could see it was lacking in anything. It had no facial features at all, not even eyes or ears. No wonder it didn't react to him. In fact, it looked to be made of almost pure darkness, like a living shadow. He followed it around for awhile, thinking that doing so might give him some insight as to what it wanted. No such luck though. It just stayed around the hall, making slow, large circles. He eventually worked up the nerve to touch it. It was cold. The cold of death and despair. But it was solid. Andran withdrew his hands quickly. Maybe I can take it out before whoever controls it can tell it to do something. He backed up a bit, and got his swords ready to attack. Getting behind it, he made ready to attack. Suddenly, the thing stopped moving. It turned to him and stood there, not moving. Andran hesitated a bit, not knowing what to expect, but since it didn't move, he took the initiative. But, before his sword could hit the thing, he felt something. It didn't hurt really, but something had hit him. He looked down and saw a ball of shadow on his stomach. At first it didn't do much, but then it started pulsating. Andran felt a sharp, seering pain in his gut. He yelled out in pain, falling to both knees. Then, all of a sudden, the pain stopped. He looked down, covered with a cold sweat, only to see nothing there. The dark ball had gone. He lifted up his shirt and saw a small dark spot where the ball was. The ghoul had started pacing again. He decided it would be a better idea to find everyone else, instead of hanging out with that thing.

Moira heard Andran scream, and wanted to go to him, get out of here. But she didn't go against her older sister's words. She waited until Luna came back and immediately ran to her, taking her hand. She kept her eyes on the floor.

Rah was alone in Joseph's room.

'WTF' he thought. He exited the room and went into the corridor. When he saw everyone was there he almost cried out of joy. The sinister smile on his face was so marked as he was sprinting towards all the people; as soon as he approached them Moira looked at him in a strange way.
He realised his smile was too evident so he tried to get back serious.

"I was just happy to see you're allright my friends; And Moira sweetie, are you ok? You look... Frightened. Everything's ok, now i'm here and i'll take all of you in a safe place" Said Rah looking Moira deep in the eyes.

"Once you will all be in the Magic Room you'll be safe my friends; meanwhile i'll be able to hunt those ghosts and with my skills send them from where they came. But for you now it's too dangerous to stay in the castle. Even powerful warriors like Adran can't do anything against the monsters" Said Rah watching Adran respectfully.

"Ok we are ready now. Let's move on to the prisons!! The 5th jail has the secret passage to the Magic Room."

Rahs warning was not necessary in this case. He had already figured out that his blades would be useless on those things. The mark on his stomach was proof of that. He would need to get that checked out sooner or later. He could feel something inside of him, and he didn't much like that. But it would have to wait. At least until the princes and princesses were safe in the Magic Room. The two present royals made there way there until Rah stopped them to give Moira an apple. True they would need to eat eventually, but this was not the time.

"Forgive me for saying this, but perhaps that could wait? We still don't know what's happening here, and those things are too dangerous to simply wait here eating. I feel that it would be best to keep moving. After all, it won't take long to get to the dungeons, and then only a few more moments to the Magic Room. We can all eat there, if we so choose."

Rah was looking at Adran and Grim as they were talking.
"You are absolutely right my friend but i didn't mean to eat here, i was just worried about the little princess"
Said Rah looking both of them seriously.

"You can eat it while we are going to the prisons dear, or inside the Magic Room, it's up to you" he said to Moira smiling gently "And it's your choice too if you want to give to someone or keep it for yourself... Just remember you won't be able to eat for a long time inside the Magic Room, since there's no food there"

"Ok my friends, start walking towards the prisons, jail cell n. 5, i'll be right behind you" Said Rah clearly inviting the others to start walking again.

Grim heard what Luna said. She was right - the young Joseph was gone. It was a perfect time for Grim to go back and find him and meanwhile to get his armor from the guards room.
-"I`ll go back and search for him, and no - nobody's coming with me"-Grim was looking straight to Rah's eyes.-"Don't worry about me, I`ll be fine. Sir Rah please take the everybody to this room and make sure"-Grim's voice got coarse while saying this-"that everyone will be OK."-Grim's eyes passed through the eyes of the rest. It was time to go and he knew this.
He turned his back slowly and begun walking."Now I must find the quickest way to get to the guards room". But his thoughts were all about Joseph. He sensed something strange when he spot with Rah in his room. Something was really going terribly wrong.

"Fools" said Rah quite in an angry mood "i'll go and get them back later" continued watching Grim running away.

Only three of them were left with Rah now: the two princesses and Andran. He decided that it was better to move on and take them to the Magic Room.

"Ok my friends we can move now" he said. He watched Moira and felt she was a bit worried.

"Hey honey everything's gonna be fine ok?" said Rah smiling gently "Your brothers gonna be fine, just as you and the people here"

Rah approached Luna and silently said to her: "We should hurry now, there's no time to lose" he said "I'll get you to the secret room and i'll go and get the other fools back... They are in danger now..." He said even more quietly, afraid that Moira could listen.

Rah noticed that Moira was looking at him suspiciously while he was whispering at Luna. He then approached her and gently said: "Are you sure are you ok? You haven't said a word since we met today. Just an ok will be fine and will tranquilize me. I really care about all of you, my friends. So, Moira, are you fine?"

OOC: Holy **** i totally forgot about him LOL sorry!!!

IC: Rah was happy to hear her voice.
"Oh you can speak" said laughing "Glad to hear you're fine, princess"

They kept walking silently and rapidly, they were all worried about what was happening. The situation was really bad and they had to go to a safe place as soon as possible.
They reached a cross corner when Rah ran in front of his friends and stopped them.
"Can you hear that?" He said with a worried face "Listen closely"

Everybody could hear a sort of noise, it sounded like they were steps. As the thing went near the sound became more clear, showing it's real identity; they were steps indeed, someone was walking quickly toward them.

"Hide, quick!" whispered desperatly Rah to the people with him.

Everybody hided behind the huge columns near the corner, Luna, Moira and Viktor at one side and Andran and Rah behind the other column.
The noise of the steps became loud as the "thing" went near. The shadow was clear, but they couldn't say if it was human or not. Rah gave sign to stay hidden and quiet.
Then the thing became visible to all the people there: it was Joseph.
When Luna saw Joseph she was going to get out and stop him but Rah immediatly ordered her to stay hidden and not to talk. Luna was a bit stranged about what Rah just ordered her to do, and she felt to follow his order.

Jospeph was walking towards the (dead, therefore empty) King and Queen's room, and he looked to be in a hurry. Rah left him go and when they couldn't hear his steps anymore they all came out from the columns.

"What's wrong Rah? He was Joseph, one of us!" said Luna a bit disappointed "Why you stopped me from talking to him?"

Rah looked at the floor with a sad face.
"My suspects were correct" He said. Everybody became curious and silent at this sentence.
"Yes" Rah continued "Now my suspects are confirmed" said with a sad voice. Everyone was staring and listening very carefully.
"He left secretly without telling; this proves my suspects even more. But the decisive proof, well, you all saw that" He kept talking.
"He was going to the King and Queen's room" Rah said watching Luna and the others in the eyes.

"My friends" his eyes were totally serious, and his face contracted "He, Joseph, killed our King and Queen".

OOC: I don't know if you've been keeping up greek, but Joseph isn't the bad guy here. Rah is, but our chars don't know it yet. Look back to the previous pages for more details. So he's giving us a false accusation to lead the trail off of himself and onto you.


IC: Andran couldn't believe what Rah had just said. In fact, he wouldn't. He had been with the royal family for years, and the late king and queen had loved all four of their children equally, and they him. True Joseph was a bit...odd what with his love of the strangest magical items, but nothing in his treatment of his parents gave him indication of such murderous intent. Besides, there wasn't any real motivation behind such actions. Since he wasn't next in line for the throne, Viktor is, and he was with them. Oddly silent, but very much alive. And there was nothing else that would cause the younger prince to kill both his parents. There was something very strainge indeed about this.

"Now hold on a minute there sorcerer. Just because we saw him go into the throne room, doesn't mean he killed the king and queen. If you want to accuse him of such grave deeds, then you had best have better proof than that. Besides, he has no reason to kill his parents, so why would he?"
